I'll start by saying before I wrote my review I read about six other reviews from bed bugs to mice to rude staff My favorite was when I read a four-star review from a guy that gives everywhere five star reviews So I have no doubt they're probably buying reviews online The neighborhood needs a little something extra in our three-day stay here I personally noticed vagrancy and panhandling all around the area I didn't notice 15 like the other reviewer but I could at least count five there were also four gunshots in the afternoon between 1:30 pm and 5:00 pm on on the 22nd of November 2024 and I'm not quite entirely sure that it wasn't a disagreement about a turkey 🦃 in my experience between the black mold growing on the ceiling the ants around the hotel The AC I had to clean because it smelt like pure musk after my significant other pointed out the issue and they came to clean it it still wasn't clean so I cleaned it myself with rubbing alcohol and we left the window open the whole stay to get rid of the musk smell and the tub was concave to the point I went in with my slippers to prevent bacteria on my feet and literally I was slipping in the tub there's no traction no anything to keep elderly people from falling The picture with ginger tea can vividly show that there is an indent instead of a flat surface where you want to rest your feet and if you try and take a step it's not very sure footing and you will easily fall The in-room coffee maker was broke The fridge was broke and I wouldn't advise any military members to stay in this hotel even to save a back to me the prices were a little excessive for the situation at hand The rooms were approximately $100 a night however I would not have even paid $60 for this they did have a beautiful workout room breakfast however leaded something to be desired when they served raw sausage patties and as I read in one of the other reviews the best course of action would be to go to waffle House across the street The staff there was phenomenal we had a good laugh and I enjoyed myself The staff at the hotel seemed more to just be bothered than to assist in any issues we had with the room and of my party and the four rooms we had we had to switch two of them because of smells with musk which leads me to believe they need to focus more on cleaning the ACs in every room and I hope they understand you cannot just paint over black mold it will go through My room was 108 The mirror in the room was dirty the pictures were dirty as well and had tape on them It didn't look like it was holding it together but it was very shocking The parking lot had divots in it from a recent truck that was heavily loaded that spent the night and it looked like they pulled out and shredded the asphalt on top of this what was come more comical than an annoyance was the ice bucket which looked like a trash can with a plastic bag in it only smaller I was actually using it as a trash can till my significant other told me it was the ice bucket needless to say I will never stay here again and there's no way they will...
Read moreThis hotel is by far the worst I’ve ever stayed in. I do not live in the area. The first time I came down, which was in June to visit a family member who was transitioning. I paid two ways, one with a card and one in cash upon leaving, I forgot to collect my incidental payment and called back immediately, several times to this office and corporate and still has yet to receive my incidental payment, I returned in July for now the home going service of my family member went back to this location addressed them again about that same $50 payment and was told they could now not be located. They don’t know what happened to it Already in the grieving process booked two nights for my stay in July woke up the second morning to go to the restroom there were five roaches crawling in the restroom, took photos reported it absolutely nothing was done. I ended up having to stay an additional night and had to move to another room Checked in move my belongings to another room spent most of the day with the family upon return to the room, which was around 9 o’clock at night, of course temperatures are still stifling. I walked into the room and noticed it was extremely hot. The air did not work. I went to the front desk and was told there’s nothing they can do. They have no rooms and nowhere to move me now I’m standing in the lobby looking around there’s roaches crawling all over the lobby floor behind the counter by the workers they have boxes of combat, which is bait for roaches. I then asked. Is there a fan that I could use and was told no she got on the phone with someone and they told her to give me the fan out of the laundry it was so hot in that room I could not take it. I ended up leaving at 3 AM. Now with both of those stays when I had to change rooms there was still a collection of $50 each time And here it is August 8th And I still have yet to receive those two $50 payments back to my card I have contacted corporate several times contacted this location. They have not been able to get them on the phone. In addition corporate did tell me that this location has been lying saying that they have been calling me when they have not do not stay at this location, Dan Patel is not truthful. I waited to give them time to return my money and I have not gotten it back. Do not stay at this location. It’s absolutely terrible. Worst experience ever. I’m still calling this location and corporate for my money back and still have not...
Read moreI had booked a room through Expedia while in the parking lot. Walked in to check in and front desk lady had told us we accidentally booked the room for the wrong night. She told me she was unable to fix it because it was booked through Expedia and I need to contact them to get it fixed before we can check in. So I was able to call and get the dates corrected. Went back to the front desk and checked in, gave her my CC to process the payment. (Different one than I used to book the hotel through Expedia). I realized the hotel had accidentally double charged me. Same charge for the same date so I figured one would drop off. I waited a couple weeks then I contacted the hotel to request a refund on the 2nd charge. The hotel employee said he would write down my info and pass it on to the GM to get it taken care of. I never heard back so a couple days later I called again and spoke with a lady I assumed was the GM. She said she was refunding my 121.85, and she was sorry about that. I wait a month and the charge never credits to my bank account. So I call again. This time the gentleman says he is the owner, said that Expedia messed up and I paid for 2 rooms. And I now need to call Expedia again to get it resolved. Very unprofessional, refusing to help. So I called Expedia, they 3 way call the hotel to get the to bottom of it and the owner wouldn't answer the phone. We called about 10 times then she gave up and we emailed the hotel. A week later and still no response from the hotel. I've been lied to and said refund is coming. Then I was treated VERY unprofessional by the owner. And now can't get a reply or my refund. DONT give them your CC. If you absolutely have to stay here, book online. The front desk lady is the only person to touch and process that CC. So not sure why they keep giving me the run around with Expedia. Expedia has never had my bank card info. Luckily I recorded all the calls because sounds like they have...
