First of all, I am reviewing one room only as I only stayed in one room, not the whole hotel. The exterior of the hotel is pleasant enough aside from the shutters that either need to be replaced or painted. The lobby is nice and had a pleasant smell. The night host was very welcoming. I arrived late and left pretty early. I was only at the hotel 8-9 hours. My room was on the second floor, indoor corridors. The room had a lovely velvet/velour chair and a very nice large black and white print above the bed. The mattress was nice. I slept well. However, some of the furniture in that particular room looked like it had been chewed on by a dog. The bathroom floor had been partially replaced around the toilet but it was loose and moved up and down when you stepped on it and it was not the same tiles as the rest of the floor. The shower was noisy (pipes) and had cigarette burns. I could overlook all of that however the room was non smoking but smelled horrible of cigarettes. The carpet was very very thin and I think if the owners would replace it, it would help with the smell tremendously. I did get a good rate and I appreciate that but last but not least, there was no breakfast or coffee the next morning. No muffins, etc. and no coffee brewed in...

Iâve stayed in number of Super 8 hotels and most of them have been mixed. Mostly negative experiences. Not this one.
When you first walk into the lobby, two friendly ladies with big smiles welcomed me. I was able to check in and get my room keys very quickly. I was asked, âWould you like to stay in one of our upgraded rooms?â âThat would be great, thank you,â I replied. They did mention that they are renovating their entire building and apologized for the mess in advance.
As you look around the lobby and breakfast area, itâs very bright and very clean. Very welcoming and surprising for a Super 8.
Once I arrived in my room, it smelled fresh and clean. Bed was so comfortable that I overslept the next morning by few hours. I kept snoozing my alarm, didnât want to get up.
Bathroom was nice and clean with new towels. Shower pressure was good too. Vanity mirror and sink probably could be raised up higher. It was too low for my height. It was below my waist. It might be a mobility accessible room.
The ladies went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Definitely would recommend...
Read moreI stay in a lot of hotels, mostly mid-range, and I try to be as fair as possible when giving my honest opinions in reviews such as this. I've got to say that I'm disappointed in my experience here. The overall problem is that the room is truly and authentically unclean. There is indeed a musty smell upon entering that cannot be ignored and it's quite off putting. The carpet is semi-grimy, nearly everything is dusty (I even ran my finger along the top of the bedside alarm clock and it left a trail), all of the corners of the room are dirty and obviously not a priority for the cleaning crew, the furniture is noticeably worn and dinged up significantly, and out of the seven lights/lightbulbs throughout the room/bathroom, only three or four of them work. This place is in desperate need of a deep clean or two. The bed itself is clean and pretty comfortable and the TV and AC work adequately, which is why I left the two stars in the rating. The lady at the front desk was friendly as well. Overall, if you're in a pinch, this place will do, otherwise I would not and...
