Yosemite Magic Studio "B" — Hotel in Oakhurst

Dishonest owner desperate to make a quick buck. We were ready to give the property a miss based on our travel itinerary. But we checked with the owner on the snow storm that was on the news, and he told us they were inaccurate and for us to proceed with the trip up to his lodge. We were faced with road closures on the first day, unable to even get into the site. (had to incur costs for lodging in a neighboring town) Second day when we got up, we were faced with a property which was abandoned for 1 whole week due to the snow storm. Totally inaccessible due to the snow build up. (see pictures) Owner was dishonest in informing us the actual condition of the property prior to making journey up. Refused to even offer a partial refund considering the fact that we could not even step foot into the property, did not even incur him and...

Nice studio, comfy bed, pull out couch, fully equipped kitchen with coffee tea dishes silverware pots and pans refrigerator dishwasher stove, breakfast table, patio with bbq, nice bathroom with really hot water. The drawbacks are the heating and noise from adjoining unit. The electric fireplace and portable heater will eventually heat the place up but it takes a while. Also had to bring a chair down from the dining area to use in the living room. Had to figure out the DVD player and the several remote controls, no written instructions on how to work things. When the people in the adjoining apartment flush the toilet it sounds like the water is coming right down on your head. The heating unit for the other apartment is very noisy and it's in a closet...
