What a great experience! The inn was well maintained! I loved the personal touches, when Dee opened the door for us and asked us how our day was, it was awesome. Dee and Chuck helped us plan our weekend and had great suggestions and followed up with maps too. We stayed in the Magnolia room which was beautifully decorated and clean. We were given a tour of the other rooms and each one was unique and clean and perfect. Dee cooked us breakfast and the first day we sat outside with another couple and it was lovely. The food was amazing. Something different was served everyday and was so tasty! We missed the 5:00 pm cheese and crackers with wine both days sadly because we were so busy. The towels they provided were plush, clean and soft and in abundance. They didn't hide anything extra (like towels and toiletries) there were offering and supplied snacks and drinks and extra toiletries if needed. I can't wait to go back and visit again! I'd certainly recommend staying here if...
Read moreWe (five of us) had a wonderful experience this summer at 30 Timber Road B&B. I had about 20 years history with the innkeepers from their previous location, so it was a "low risk" try at their new place - but you never know for sure. I'm happy to say the 30 Timber Road experience was even better - beautiful gardens, delightful and comfortable rooms, great breakfast, happy - but unobtrusive - dog, beautiful grounds. Our seven year old granddaughter had lots of space to run around. While the B&B is very handy to US 15, I-76, and I-81, the B&B is nicely secluded well AWAY from traffic noise, a generally difficult feat for lodging in the Carlisle PA area.
The best part remains the innkeepers. Dee and Chuck are among the friendliest, most gracious, and unpretentious people I have ever met. We'll definitely be back whenever we're...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed here in late June and we have nothing but good things to say about our stay. We were greeted outside by Dee and Chuck and they offered to help with our bags. They maintained social distancing while giving us a friendly, informative tour of their B&B. The room that we stayed in (Oak Room) was beautiful, clean, and so welcoming! The AC worked well and the bathroom was stocked with fluffy towels. The bed was comfy, and the room was decorated tastefully. We also enjoyed the little personal touches that the hosts left for us. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, filling, and healthy. We really enjoyed eating outside on their screened-in porch! We hope to return in the winter months to enjoy the fireplace. I would happily recommend this place and the lovely...
