When I booked the room it advertised wifi, an indoor pool, and a continental breakfast. It also said that it offered cribs. I called the hotel to ask about getting a crib and the attendant said “I don’t know if they have those. I am new here.” I asked her to check for sure because I needed to know for sure if they would have one and she told me she was the only one there and I should just bring one just in case. She did not offer any further help or make any effort to find the information for me. Upon check in she told me that the indoor pool is closed and that the wifi would be down for the whole weekend. I entered my room and the sink, toilet, and bathroom in general did not seem to be cleaned. There was hair all over the toilet seat, the sink has remnants of something in it, and there was hair all over the bathroom floor. I went back down the hall and asked for some cleaning products to clean my bathroom. The attendant was folding laundry in the laundry room. She told me that she didn’t know where any cleaning products were, that this was not her hotel, they pulled her from the one up the street and put here there without any training. She did not apologize or offer any remedies for the dirty area. She was standing near a shelf that had a dirty bottle of bleach sitting on it. I asked if she would let me use the bleach and she handed me the bottle and said “there’s not much in it” and gave me a rag. I cleaned the bathroom. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was broken and dripped water after showers. The exterior doors were not locked during the night. There was a key card reader on the doors on the back of the building but they did not seem to latch and I never had to use the key card to enter. I was staying alone with my daughter and son and that did not make me feel like the doors were secure or being monitored- maybe someone was watching the from a monitor somewhere but they should have been locked at night or when the attendant was not at the desk. Finding an attendant at the desk was hit or miss. At check- out there were three people waiting and we could not locate the attendant on duty. I dropped off my keys and left.
The sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable enough, and the room area itself seemed to be find but the hotel was lacking in other areas and it will not be my top...
Where should I start , this hotel seemed to good to be true for the price and being dog friendly for our stay . Fast forward to June 12th 2025 we came from Rhode Island for bantam jeep we was a few hours early typically you can check in early . We get to the counter and no one is there but instead sitting in the pool area . He greeted us and became rather rude and said he’d have to charge us $25 early check in fee oh and cash only . We said sure we’ve been driving for 9 hours , ow we say we have two dogs , cost is 25 a dog per night ok we are fine with that … that also was cash only . We go upstairs to room 204 , it had a funk smell , we turned the ac on 60 and fan to high got our dogs settled and left for a few hours . We came back the room was well into the 80s . We went downstairs told the new front desk guy , he said. I problem I’ll get you a new room . Now we room 203 king size bed like we had and had a jacuzzi tub and the ac worked . More looking around tub is out of order handles are gone . I now lay on the bed to get settled to relax, the bed was Atleast 25 years old the coils were coming out of a few spots . My wife goes to the only sink in the room and there’s no hot water they shut it off do a leak I think there was mold and mildew under it . We went downstairs told and told the guy and he’s like your dogs are barking , ok we are a pet friendly hotel it’s to be expected. We said we have no hot water he said ok I’ll let maintenance know . We left today again nobody at the counter at 5am and they never checked us out till about 1 o’clock this afternoon. This property is super neglected grass outside was about 2 feet tall , trash outside the doors , pool was nasty , there’s no outside jacuzzi like listed . Honestly steer clear of this place . I hate leaving bad reviews but this one is honest, also choice if you read this I have photos to prove it all . So please feel free...
Read moreWe had to switch rooms cause our first bed, had no cushion at all in it. It was like setting and laying on the boards under the bed. They moved our room, and it was just as bad. The 2nd room didnt have a full length mirror on the door but you could tell one used to be on it. The outsides doors didnt lock when you got in the building. Anyone could have came inside the building. Also seen the outside door to the pool area late one night wide open, for everyone in the vicinity to enter. Even our room didnt close properly. You had to slam it to actually lock, we found that out when we went to the free breakfast the 1st morning and we went back to our room. All our stuff could have been stolen cause it didnt lock at all. Speaking of the breakfast. It was crap, the cereal looked to be left in the containers and old. Saw fruit loops in one with cheerios on top of it. The pancake stuff was awful. Coffee so bad. So the next 2 days after that we went to McDonald's down the road. Then we started to see those small roaches in the room. Saw one in the bathroom the last night. That next morning on ny side of the bed, 2 roaches at different times was crawling on the bed...THE BED!! We had slept on that bed. They could have been crawling on us while we slept. I hope I didnt carry any home..its disgusting. The shower water was clogged and wouldn't go down while showering. Took forever to drain. It was an extremely bad experience for the price of money. 100 dollars a night isn't cheap and you should have a decent place to stay. We will never stay there again nor will I EVER recommend...
