Mattress Firm Stamford Ridgeway — Hotel in Stamford

I am mortified at my experience here. The gentlemen who has been there for 5 months helped me and when I walked in he was napping on one of the mattresses. Not off to a good start.

He was kind and helpful to the best of his ability, but he tried to take me for a ride. He only showed me the most expensive things. While I understand they have to meet a quota, it was fairly obvious, and not a personal interaction at all.

Even with all of that, I still was going to buy until the END. This dude just made up numbers. When he saw I wasn’t satisfied and asked for the breakdown, he REFUSED to show it to me / keep knocking off money. What? Do you think I trust you? I was disgusted with the entire experience

Nevertheless - I went to mattress firm in high ridge and they redeemed the whole company in my opinion. Not that they need my money remotely, but I did spend $5000 which is a hefty amount.

I cannot recommend this store enough! My husband and I wanted to upgrade our bed in the next few weeks so we stopped in to get an idea of what we were looking for. We were helped by Dex, who was absolutely wonderful. We didn’t really know exactly what we wanted so he had us try a few that helped us figure out what kind of bed we were looking for. Then he led us to the bed of our dreams. We both fell in love with it right away. He didn’t try to pressure us or try to get us to go out of the price range we felt comfortable with, which we made us want to act quickly. After we left, we decided we didn’t want to wait and came back the next day to complete our purchase and are very happy we did.

They really make you feel so comfortable, literally with their great quality mattresses also with their great costumer service skills. Also loved the fact that they were able to work with us and make things happen no matter what, without putting any pressure to buy like in other places! 11/14/2018 This is an addition to the review I gave three weeks ago. Mattress Firm is supposed to reimburse me for a mistake that they made which wasn't a big deal for me, until now because it's been 3 weeks and I keep calling them and they just never do it. All I get is "I'm sorry, I promise you'll get it" the question is.... WHEN?? How long does it take to reimburse money that was never meant to be spent in...
