Mattress Firm Lockport — Hotel in Town of Lockport

MATTRESS FIRM IS AN ILLUSION! I hope none of you think I’m crazy, because I have a feeling that I’m not the only one that’s been thinking this, but I’ve finally worked up the courage to say the truth out loud for all to see. Mattress Firm is not real. The entire place is an illusion. It’s like one of those North Korea storefronts where all the produce is actually painted styrofoam.

First of all, with commercial rental rates for this much square footage being tens of thousands of dollars a month, plus the cost of utilities, payroll and insurance, a location like this would need to have something like $250,000 a month to be profitable. But here’s the deal…

Nobody is buying anything. Nobody is going in. Nobody is going out. Nobody has a mattress on the roof of the car. Nobody has a mattress in the bed of the truck.

You have never even seen a mattress firm delivery truck in your neighborhood because there isn’t one.

Your neighbor, friend, co-worker, family member, has never excitedly told you about their new mattress firm mattress because they never got one.

In fact as you read this very post you are probably realizing that not only have you never walked into a Mattress Firm, you have never seen anyone else walking in, or out either. This is not a coincidence.

Even if a Mattress Firm sold 4 mattresses every single day at a cost of $2,000 each with 100% profit margin and $0 in material cost: the economics of having such a large strip center location don’t add up. Not even close. But it doesn’t need to, because it’s all fake.

There is no Mattress Firm. There is no mattress. There are no transactions. The whole store is an illusion, and there must be a deeper, unknown purpose for the endless “locations” in every major city in the nation.

Had to put a new review up here, my previous review was 5 stars while I was still in store. I ended up getting home the night I purchased a mattress and realized how shady everything was I looked at the paperwork. I was told the way I was purchasing was ridiculous and I should use credit card, then the delivery system was very SHADY. Randoms come from a different state and most likely they would be here late Saturday evening…like what. Oh, THEY WERENT EVEN DELIVERING THE MATTRESS. it was being sent via fedex. Now, let me talk about the refund process. I was told Monday morning it was to late, I would have to wait until the mattress arrived, I said that’s absurd it’s Monday morning I bought this Friday night. That seemed to work bc the Manager took care of it. But the money, now the money is a different story. I was told a max of 3-5 business days on May 26. It’s June 4 now and I’m hearing refunds take 2-4 WEEKS. avoid this place, every aspect is shady. I have emails/screenshots/documents...

My wife and I recently purchased 3 mattresses from Mattress Firm, all of which had adjustable bases. I don’t think we could have had a better experience anywhere. We’ve purchased many mattresses over the course of 40 or so years, but never had as pleasant an interaction with a salesperson as we did with Debbie Z. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. We live in Amherst, so we were hesitant to go to Lockport when we could have gone to a well known mattress store right down the street from our house. We’ve done that several times before, but never had anywhere near the pleasant encounter we had with Debbie. The best part of the entire experience was that we felt comfortable with her and never felt that she wasn’t being totally truthful or that she didn’t have our best interests in mind.
