Stayed at this location for 3 nights, even after reading reviews from others. I should have trusted them better. First the good. The staff here is trying to make your stay the best they can. Rooms are quiet at night and hotel is easy to get downtown or to suburbs of Milwaukee easily. Now the bad. The road into the business park is like driving on the moon. The hotel is in dire need of a handyman/carpenter. I never seen any such person working anywhere in the hotel. Yes the hot tub was still "waiting on parts". Over 2 months now from other reviews. The pool and the pictures I took should alarm any upper mgmt staff really paying attention to their customers. Multiple parts of walls need redone, tile falling off or even rusting away. Ceiling tiles broken, most likely by a ball of other kids toy. 6 speakers for music and only one working. Outdoor furniture which appears was destroyed by the same children or like adult morons, and finally to a picture of the grim/dirt in the pool. On the depth tile, it is supposed to be white. I was able to scratch the grim back to where it should be, just think of what you're swimming in if they have neglected so much. There was only one elevator working during our stay. You can be waiting for some time per there is 8 floors it is trying to serve. There is no microwaves in room however right off the elevator, they have one there on each floor. Very tacky. Multiple light fixtures in the halls are missing covers. There is also not refrigerators in many rooms. Probably a good thing per on the first night around 2-4 am, a mouse left a little black gift in front of our shower. While covering the bathroom, please note we never used the shampoo supplied by the hotel per someone before us, had used it and it was never replaced. Cleaning crew also never came in during our stay. Never seen them in any of the halls any of the days we stayed. This might be since COVID, but most hotels will tell you simply request fresh towels etc however that is the final thing missing from the room. A simply guide to guest of their services, local eating places, room service numbers and sometimes suggested things to see in the area/city. There is no such guide here. This hotel could be so much better with just some simple maintenance. Due to multiple reports over months it does not seem Sonesta corp is interested. Because of this, I will do a rethink if I see Sonesta again for suggest stays.

This hotel was a wonderful facility, nice lobby, nice rooms, nice bathroom, but the staff was very disappointing. The desk clerk was curt with my friend when she checked us in making condescending remarks toward the websites and those who book via the likes of Expedia or Priceline. He was unwilling/unable to accommodate our need for two beds, so he suggested a rollaway bed, "They're very comfortable." When we requested the second bed on our way to dinner, they accommodated us. We returned to find the improperly-made bed sitting directly inside the room door. We not only had to move it to get into the room, we had to move around the furniture to set up the bed ourselves. When we opened it, we found that the sheets were on crooked; the presumably top sheet was actually a fitted sheet. Seems the housekeeping staff couldn't be bothered with making the bed properly or setting it up for us. Even worse, the bed was in very poor shape...an 8" depression in the middle (see the picture which doesn't do it justice). Had we paid a budget price for this hotel, we might have overlooked being slighted in several ways, but we did not. We paid a lot by my standards. I live abroad, travel extensively and usually pay $80 -100 for a night in a hotel; it was disappointing to pay much more and receive much less. Lastly, and in keeping with the Crowne Plaza experience, when my friend tried to review the hotel on the Crowne Plaza website, her review was repeatedly rejected for not meeting the "accepted standards". Apparently, they only receive 5-star reviews. Figures. Bottomline: neither my friend nor I will ever book a Crowne Plaza hotel again. Be advised.

1.) I called ahead of time to request a refrigerator in our room because we need one for my son’s cardiac medication. When we get to our room, there wasn’t one. A nice man did bring us one but shortly after he arrived I noticed that the carpet outside of the bathroom and in the entry way was soaked. Not wet, SOAKED. The carpet in the room that we were moved to was sticky, I would not walk on it barefoot. 2.) The rooms were dirty (dusty, disgusting trash cans, muddy foot prints in bathroom, mold growing on peeling wallpaper and shower curtains, overall damp feeling) and the furniture is so, so worn. The drapes were torn which is such an easy thing to replace. Our comforter had big, black, hard stains on it and I found leaves, grass in the bed. 3.) Piles of dirty sheets and old take out containers sat in the hallway for an entire day outside of the elevator. 4.) Possibly the worst thing is that the elevators are extremely dangerous. The safety mechanism failed as we were getting on the elevator and nearly smashed my husband and my 4 month old daughter who was thankfully in her infant seat. Are you kidding me? It REALLY scared us! I’ve never had an experience like this. We would have moved hotels but hauling my two young children out after we had been on the road all day would have been too difficult and I did not want to have to pay for cancelling. In fact I hate that I am paying at all for such a bad experience. We should have just left. It just kept getting worse. We check out tomorrow and we will never stay at another Sonesta and will warn others. We really should be refunded. Unacceptable to expect anyone to pay over $100 a night.

What I liked: the workout area.  Has everything you should need including some hammer strength.  (Nice size free weight selection) and stairmaster. I had a thank you on my notepad from Housekeeping My beds were made and towels always restocked daily. Hot Tub pool area had been maintained daily. Selection in Avante Market overall was ok.  I was able to purchase what I needed for my cold and an energy drink to get going. To the front desk brunette (sorry i missed your name) who heard me and found the room I wanted THANK YOU! To the weekend lounge manger (She waited on me when I was sick saturday at 3)... THANK YOU!

Unfortunately-I had to change my review down to a 3-may be generous.  I merely add the third because overall; there was good during my say....

I was taking a shower and my showerhead fell. • Next day my room door was all the way open at 430pm  All belongings still in my room. (Took pic) °Showerhead was fixed. I tipped housekeeping not because I believe in it-I do believe in Karma and it's almost Christmas. • longer I stayed/tipped the more things were missed.  (My perception did not change.) °my undrank coffee stayed in its cup for two days. ° It was what I realized was dried up on the floor after mant. repaired the door. I had to get another key and had to go through an 8 point verification. (While standing in my pjs. I was getting ice.) I can't think of a bank that has that level of security.  When finished I was asked if I was a rewards member. Other things included: 45 min wait on a weekday evening.  (One other patron sat) the order consisted of a black Angus burger- that did not come out with the rest. The Avante Market server went down and would not take my card.  (WAS a weekend at night) A front desk telling that my fax transacted; when it did not give confirmation.  (Found out after my deadline) I still hope my proprietary fax has not been sitting in queue for the world to read. The vending on floor 4 charges you two transactions so you have to pull 2 warm sodas.  (Not cold) I will say that while I did not feel mistreated or unwelcome-I did not always feel as if I was a priority. The two mentioned-Good for...

My son and I stayed at Sonesta for about 3 months (end of November to beginning of March) while my husband was at Froedtert hospital after suffering strokes. The staff was awesome and tried to accommodate as much as they could. They took me to and from the hospital. They worked with me on the rates to help with the expense. They even gave me emotional support when I needed it. Loved that they are pet friendly and although I ended up having to put our dog of 15 years down during our stay there, it was great to be able to have her there for the couple of weeks I had her there. It was a very hard time and the staff became a huge support to me and my son!! The rooms are in need of updating but are comfortable. They had a breakfast buffet during the weekdays only, no weekends, but we didn't partake in it cause we had to pay extra daily, around $14-$15, if we wanted to eat. You have to make sure to ask for a room with a fridge to get one and there are no microwaves in the rooms so we had to go to the lobby to use the microwave but otherwise our stay was great. I used the hot tub quite often during our stay. The pool area is in need of some TLC which they started working on more before we left. The first floor is done beautifully big banquet halls to rent if needed, a bar area, restaurant, nice bathrooms, lobby area, and I was told before we left that they are planning to start updating the rooms soon. Due to lack of staff the shuttle was hard to come by at times, mostly on weekends in the morning, so I would walk to the hospital when the weather permitted, which took me about 30 minutes to walk to, or I had to wait until the afternoon to go. I can say that I am grateful for all the staff helping where they could!! A huge Thank you to all the staff for everything they did for us, it made a very hard time a little...
