PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK A ROOM IN THIS HOTEL *I TOOK SHELTER FROM THE TENNESSEE TORNADOES AND SEVERE WEATHER AT THIS HOTEL (DAYS INN $109.00+$20 PER PET 2 DACHSHUNDS ESP) MAY 8TH-11TH Due to the fact I live in a camper by the river. #Tennesseetornado #Tennesseetornado2024 VICTIM May 8th-9th 2024. The People are VERY RUDE, HATEFUL, GREEDY, PUSHY, AND VERY CONDESCENDING! AND TREATED ME WITH MUCH DISRESPECT EVEN AFTER LEARNING I LOST MY HOME/ MY CAMPER AND MUCH MORE IN THE STORMS AND TORNADOES!!!!!! During my stay there from Wednesday the 8th-Saturday the 11th THESE ARE *A FEW OF THE ISSUES WITH THE ROOM: *THE "FREE WI-FI" DID NOT WORK. *THE SATALITE TV WOULD NOT STAY ON. *THE REFRIGERATOR DID NOT WORK. *THE PHONE DID NOT WORK. *THE TOILET WOULD NOT FLUSH. *THE BATHROOM LIGHT HAD A SHORT IN IT. *THE CARPETS WE STAINED AND FILTHY. *COFFEE MAKER IN ROOM DOES NOT WORK. *THE COMFORTERS HAD MANY, MANY CIGARETTE BURNS HOLES IN THEM. *DUST AND DIRT IN EVERY CORNER. *ICE MACHINE DOES NOT WORK. *THEY GAVE US ISSUES ABOUT NEEDING NEW TOWELS. *WOULD NOT COME CHANGE THE TRASH BINS. *BEGAN KNOCKING ON THE DOOR, WIGGLING THE DOOR HANDLE AND CALLING THE ROOM OVER AND OVER (suddenly the phone started working only when THEY CALLED, hmmm 🤔 ) BEGINNING AT 8:30AM ON CHECK OUT DAY (TODAY). When I brought THESE MANY issues to the OWNERS ATTENTION HUSBAND AND WIFE, THEIR RESPONSE WAS "WELL IT WAS WORKING! (refrigerator, wifi, phone etc) And if none of it is working its PROBABLY because of the storms. MY RESPONSE "No, nothing has been working since I went in the room YESTERDAY EVENING, AND IM PAYING THAT MUCH FOR THAT ROOM THAT IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE ALL THE EXTRAS IN IT, YOU NEED TO EITHER FIX THE ISSUES OR GIVE ME ANOTHER ROOM AND OR GIVE ME A DISCOUNTED RATE, I HAVE NO REASON TO LIE THE ROOM HAS ALREADY BEEN PAID FOR THROUGH THE ENTIRETY OF MY STAY. THE OWNERS WERE EVEN MORE RUDE AND REPLIED "NO, I WILL NOT MOVE you to a DIFFERENT ROOM, NO, NO, I WILL NOT DISCOUNT the ROOM, NO, NO, NO GIVE REFUND FOR THE DAYS YOU PAID IN ADVANCE!"

THEY DONE NOTHING TO RECTIFY ANY OF THE ISSUES!. I initially intended to stay ONLY WEDNESDAY NIGHT TO THURSDAY MORNING BUT MY CAMPER/MY HOME WAS DESTROYED IN THE MAY 8TH-9TH STORMS. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN AND FOR MANY YEARS I HAVE STAYED IN THIS LOCATION UP TO 5 TIMES A YEAR. *PLEASE IF YOU WANT A NICE, COMFORTABLE, CLEAN, FRIENDLY, FUNCTIONING HOTEL DO NOT STAY AT THE DAYS INN. THE KNIGHTS INN IS A MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER PLACE AND HALF THE PRICE FOR THE SAME SIZE ROOMS! PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE, WHEN YOU ARE PASSING THROUGH HURRICANE MILLS STAY AT THE KNIGHTS INN..... GREAT RATES, FRIENDLY PEOPLE, CLEAN ROOMS, ALL THE COMFORT WITHOUT HAVING TO ARGUE WITH THE OWNERS TO TRY TO GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR.

Worst service with a racist American hating owner. Very rude and clearly mentally unstable owner! Threats to call police if you get more than 2 of the junk food breakfast (only breakfast offered is muffins, pastries). They small clear fridge all other motels put yogurt and creamer inside if he will scream stay out of fridge if you try to get creamer for your One free coffee. The beds had huge dip inside of. Stripped bed to see why and discovered huge biohazard where clearly they tried to clean up a large bloody mess. Refused to change room or give credit. Very angry mentally unstable owner. Avoid at all cost. Rooms are nasty. Coffee pot has mold and filth corrosion on and inside of it. See photos. He was very angry I told him he couldn’t charge me pet rent for my registered (showed dogs ID card with his photo) then he demanded I tell him what my disability is and how my could does anything. This man and his wife are the most untrained, unprofessional and American gating people I’ve EVER encountered. They have no clue how real motels operate or what an ADVERTISED BREAKFAST should have and to threaten to call police because some tried to get two tiny coffees at the free cold tiny pastry only breakfast, plus if you tried to have 3 small muffins he was standing over you threatening police if got anything else. Very strange owners. Not disability trained and insult guest more than helping them. This man was snooping outside my ground floor room and made me and my daughter feel very unsafe. He and his wife told me I had to come to office to return door card then told me I must stay and wait while they inspect my room to decide if additional charges were needed. I walked out and refused to stay. He said he’s calling police. I was lucky enough to find the sheriff deputy sitting across from gas station. They are very familiar with these crazy owners and clearly told me I didn’t have to stay and told me I was smart to take photos upon renting and leaving so could prevent the fraudulent charges! If they threaten you with police please have them call because police will...

First the positives. As far as a clean bed to sleep in with ac in the room, a fridge, and a shower, it was adequate. I also enjoyed the pool. The staff was very friendly, with the exception of one of the male cleaning crew who stood from afar and watched us while we were in the pool. When my sister in law got out of the pool, he quickly walked away.

Negatives— where to begin? The “breakfast” is literally a choice of two kinds of muffins or an orange. That’s it! Coffee, orange juice or apple juice available. Again, creepy male cleaning crew employee who was watching us in the pool. The deck chairs at pool had a white residue that was left on my skin after sitting. Let’s talk about the room. Severely poor condition- walls in bedroom have missing wallpaper trim, missing moulding, and one of the pictures looked ready to fall off. The bathroom light switch I think was supposed to be for the vent, which did not work. The bathroom light power switch was on the wall outside of the bathroom. Toilet was damaged and intermittently flushed properly. Tub was lopsided. Bathroom floor was filthy. Bathroom wall was dirty and had a pink colored stain. The carpeting in the bedroom was also filthy. I made the mistake of walking barefoot briefly in the room, and saw that my feet were black on the bottom afterwards. Definitely...
