I picked this motel due to a relatively high rating (8.2) on Bookings.com and was disappointed. I should've trusted Tripadvisor that rates it #14 of 21 hotels in Yarmouth.|This is a bare-bone motel despite the word "resort" in the name, and it is not especially cheap (at the time of booking I've seen other two star motels in the area for 2/3 of the price of Parkers). The motel consists of 3 rows of single story cabin-like barracks. The room was clean, but looked very old except for beds, which were fairly good. |Some reviews praise the location – I’m not sure why. It is not close enough to the beach to walk there – at least, if you want to get to the long and nice Seagull beach, - so you’d drive anyway. The motel is located right on Rt.28, which means traffic noise during the night - unless you close the window (BTW we had a unit that is farthest away from the road). But if you close the window you need to turn on the A/C, which is an old and very noisy window unit. Because of this window a/c you can’t open the back window and take advantage of the natural air breeze. This was the case when no A/C would be better than bad A/C.|The room had a small kitchenette at the entrance, that has a microwave, a coffeemaker and a fridge, but that is all that it has – don’t count on finding any caps, utensils, dishes, coffee filters – there is nothing at all. I wished the website warned about this; the words “kitchenette” in context of “resort” raise the expectations to find at least a bare minimum of equipment. If we knew there is nothing, we’d put a few of these things in the car.|The proprietor was quite friendly, although we didn’t ask for anything special.|Ah, and the breakfast! There is no actual breakfast area, just a little counter at the reception that had a coffee dispenser, 3 kinds of Walmart-looking cookies and the cheapest brand of apple juice. That’s basically, all. It would be better not to mention this as “breakfast” on the website; after all there are plenty of places to eat in the area, so it just raises wrong expectations.|BTW wi-fi works near the reception, but didn't work...
Read moreMy family and I stayed in a king suite with a pull out couch and kitchenette. The room was very clean and spacious. The manager was great and took the time to say hello and check in with us whenever we saw her. The indoor pool was nice and the outside space was spacious and fenced in (perfect for a kiddo to run around) The room could have used a few more outlets (we had nowhere to charge phones near the bed) Also a few more ammenities like a closet, iron and hair dryer would have been helpful but we were fine without them. The location was great and for the price we would...
Read moreWent for a quiet weekend at the Cape without the kids on the last weekend of June. Totally surprised on how awesome it was. Small clean rooms, nice decor and very clean! Very home like. I would say this is the perfect place for couples. Because of the dates, we really had the place to ourselves. Our room was quiet and it's easy access to both Hyannis and Dennis. We will say that this is by far the cleanest pool on the cape! No chlorine smells, perfect temp. The property is maintained and we could not have been happier. We will be back this...
