Ibiza Riverfront Hotel — Hotel in Đà Nẵng

Worst hotel I've seen so far. Not even 1 star. The staff was okay, but still.||Bath and hand towels rotten and stained, and old.||Dressing gown also stained with humidity spots.||Soiled bedspread with what looks like grease, full of dirt drippings||Old pillowcases.||One of the electrical plugs next to the bed didn’t work||Broken window I couldn't close it by myself||Walls and sofa dirty. Chair full of rust.||Broken door latch.||Cracks everywhere.||Phone, to call reception to complain, doesn't work. ||Corridors full of crap on the floor, super disgusting carpet and walls even worse. ||Dirty pool, everything abandoned and broken. Around the pool everything is broken and dirty, you don't feel like getting in the water. With the wind it looked like everything was going to fall apart around it.||Lifts dirty and seem equally abandoned. ||Restaurant/bar/roomservice no longer exists, and nobody warned me before I came. Although in the room the menu is still there. ||I only slept here because I had already paid and had nowhere else to go. I will never return to this hotel.||Maybe they once had 4 stars, now they don't even deserve one. A shame, a disgust. I am really disgusted by the bed and the place where I slept.||If everything is dirty, imagine the amount of bacteria on this bed and etc. ||The hotel seems abandoned in all corridors, on all floors, so dirty and sloppy. Only the lobby and breakfast room are more cared for, but even then, the tables are all disgusting and stained. ||I feel completely cheated. ||Maybe that’s why they have such discounts now. But still I would prefer an hostel.||And, when asked for the complaint book they said they didn’t have one, and if that I had something to complain about, I could talk to them. Totally non...

So all in all a nice hotel, and overall better what you can expect for the price.

The breakfast is nice too. Standard, nothing special. You have your egg-station, bread and tradition local food. And fruits. Maybe.

We read the reviews about the breakfast being sold out if you arrive late. The breakfast runs to 9.30. We arrived 8.40. The water melon plate was empty. But the sign was still out. Cheerful we asked a male waiter if the water melon was going to be filled up. He replied “no, sorry, tomorrow”. Ok. Fair. But the thing was, we could see the full plates of water melon shining with red and lush shimmer from in the kitchen just waiting to be eaten. So, ok, maybe a tat rude, but we asked another waiter. But was told no again. So we accepted the water melon defeat.

Then 10 minutes later, we saw, that a lot of other guests arriving after us at the buffet had water melon. Yay, maybe water melon to the people after all! But the plate was already empty. Sad. Therefore we asked the waiter again, if there was any more coming. And was told no. And now things got weird. Because still eyeing the water melon in the kitchen we were told no, even though I express my confusion in a polite and calm way using translation app, making sure communication was clear.

At last, a smiling chef from the kitchen came, and said that the others don’t understand English. She gave us 5 pieces of melon while apologizing in an exaggerated way. I mean, she hugged me several times, and asked us not to write a review.

I don’t mean to be mean by writing the review anyways, I am just sincerely confused about the experience, and want to put it out in the open.

Would recommend the hotel, but not the breakfast.

It’s a pretty great hotel. We had VIP 10 room and based on the pictures I started to think that the room was too good to be true for the price. Also it was very hard finding reviews, so I was starting to think that perhaps the room may not be as decent and amazing as It appeared. However, it was carbon copy.

The hotel location is perfect. We had an amazing view from our room. Great for sunsets and sunrises. We could also watch the place light up at nights.

The rooftop pool is great. I love how the rooftop is broken into layers. I didn’t catch any live entertainment at the time of being there, although the Kitchen manager said there was supposed to be a bbq on the rooftop. Wee went there and there was nothing and no one but ourselves.

Overall, I loved and enjoyed my stay but my biggest problem was the food served at breakfast m. It was the most basic, tasteless food. It was practically the same thing everyday. The food was always cold. So you need to catch breakfast at 6am when everything is still hot and fresh. I mainly stick to fruits, but I decided to skip breakfast as the Manager promised it would get better, but sadly it didn’t. I could see many Asians enjoying or appear to be enjoying their meal but the westerners didn’t seem to enjoy it one bit. We were all eating fruits. So, the food really needs to be worked on.

I see a few comments saying it’s pretty expensive but this is rather cheap compared to accommodation in the west or getting excellent accommodation even for Asia. Keep up the great work but please look in to making better breakfast options that westerners...
