We rented chains (a week before) from a popular place in Harrietville however when we got there we found out that we have mistyped the phone number we gave and the email regarding checking the clearance that they sent went into Junk. We were told that because we have a VW T-roc that unfortunately we donât have enough clearance on the wheel and therefore they cannot help us. We were sent away without even checking our tires. This was at 9:30pm after driving almost 5 hours. We were told that the only other way we can do is take the snow taxi which was about $200-$300. We were about to give up and take the taxi but decided to google if thereâs any place that could help us.
Then we stumbled upon Bright Ski Centre and spoke to Dave. He first said that he needs to see the car and although he canât guarantee it, there may be something he can do. He checked the tires and we were told there was so much clearance and that there are no issues getting snow chains on it. You are an angel Dave. Saved our marriage really LOL. Thank you so much for taking the time to look at our tires instead of just saying no. We are forever grateful!
To anyone looking for to hire snow equipments. Please consider Bright Ski Centre before going to any big brand places near...
Read moreI visited this store in Bright at around 10:00am and purchased a one-piece swimsuit after trying it on in store. When I returned to our accommodation and tried it on again, I noticed the strap was already worn and plucked, and the swimsuit provided virtually no coverage without undergarments - something that wasnât obvious when wearing under garments.
I returned to the store politely requesting a refund due to the condition and fit. The staff member immediately dismissed this as a âchange of mindâ and stated she couldnât issue a refund because the only person with authority was overseas. She then sarcastically smiled and said the âbestâ she could do was an exchange.
After that interaction, I honestly no longer felt wanted to purchase anything else from the store, but as a refund was refused, I had no option but to choose an alternative. I spent around 20 minutes finding something I would settle for. During checkout, the staff member did not say a single word, bagged the items, and ended with a smug âhave a good one.â
The overall customer service experience was disappointing and unnecessarily unpleasant. I was calm and respectful throughout, but the response I received was dismissive and rude. Unfortunately, this experience has put me...
Read moreIf you have front wheel drive car, you have to bring the car to the shop to make sure chains fit because size chart isn't accurate( thats what shop asistant said), even if the car and wheels are stock and you provide all the details including tyre size. Normally that is not a big deal, but I needed chains for 3 cars, left with only one set, shop assistant refused to rent chains for other cars that were not there( one of the most common cars you can buy in Australia). Maybe its a common practice around here, not sure, but operating with size chart that is not accurate? How do you tell the right size then? Visual inspection? Or if they fit around the tyre and you can't put your finger between tyre and the chain its good enough? Do you need any certificate or qualification to rent and fit chains on wheels? Anyway stuff was friendly and place is nice and...
