Crispy's Hardware — Local services in Hume

I was very pleasantly surprised to find that this store not only stocked everything that I needed but also had some items that I had not been able to find in some of the larger stores in the bigger centres! Very well done! On top of that the staff were very friendly and helpful and actually saved me some money with the advice that they offered. (If the boss doesn't lie that idea he should take heart in the fact that I will definitely return for my next shopping expedition!) Pathetic. They are the agent for Visy for the 10 cent container collection and on the Victorian Government website for the scheme they are listed as giving cash for the refund. My boys went and collected containers while in Bright on a holiday to buy themselves a bag of cookies, only to have them refused by this store - they would not accept any plastic (apparently they were full), and then refused to give cash for the glass and cans. Staff weren’t rude, just didn’t care. Really poor show, won’t ever bother going there...

To the team at Crispy’s Hardware on Sat 25th Nov. You are the best !!!! Where do you go when a mates 27yr old motorbike breaks a part ??? You go the Crispy’s … they supplied tools and bits and pieces are we brought some bits and bobs and they allowed us to use their undercover timber yard to make the repairs and even stayed open an extra 30 mins to give us time.
