At 6.50pm on June 1st, I was waiting outside your Bright, Victoria store for my friend whilst she grabbed some items. I had my dog Revan, with me and was walking outside the store front to keep her entertained. I was approached by WW employee Boyd who told me to not walk my dog near the staff benches. We were not even loitering in the area, just doing a lap of the store front. I was confused by the abrupt order so I asked if there was a sign to state dogs are not allowed. Boyd responded 'can you walk your dog anywhere on the street?' I said I can providing there are no signs to state otherwise. He told me I was wrong and to stay away from the benches then walked inside. I bust into tears. It took me a few days to write to you as I was very upset about the exchange. I'd just lost a baby and this was one of my first times leaving the house. Boyd should be reprimanded for his rude behaviour and if dogs are not allowed on the outside of your premises signs should be erected. Photos of the benches are attached.
This country town supermarket will rival many Melbourne suburban stores. There's plenty of variety on neat well stocked shelves. Bakery, deli meats, green grocer, meat, personal care, pets, picnic, frozen desserts, frozen foods and more - all the categories you would expect. I recently noticed that they also stock smaller sized sauces than other regular supermarkets. These are perfect for people who are just passing by and need small quantities to tide them through and also for picnics and BBQ. There is a set of Click and collect car parking right near the front entry. The popularity of this place can be seen in the nearly always full car park. Remember to turn left upon exit from the car park - no right turn.
Handy small size Woolworths in a regional town. Only downside was the appalling demeanour of an old gentleman working there (may be duty manager or service manager in the evening) Went absolutely off his rocker when I attempted to walk in through one of the registers instead of through the entrance (which I didn’t see) completely understand that I was in the wrong but the way he spoke to me was way out of line. Found it quite amusing that someone would react like that over such a minor mistake. I mentioned him to the girl on the register that served me and she was very apologetic and mentioned that “he’s a bit like that”
