Our family of three, including our young child, had the most wonderful time with Surf and Turf Adventures in Cape Breton. The canoeing experience was both fun and relaxing, surrounded by absolutely stunning scenery. What really made the day special was Bernie—the owner. He was so kind, helpful, and accommodating, making sure we were comfortable every step of the way. He treated us like old friends and went above and beyond to make it a memorable outing. It’s not often you come across such genuine hospitality paired with such a beautiful adventure. We would recommend Surf and Turf Adventures to anyone visiting the Cabot Trail—especially families looking to create lasting memories!

Our plan was to go on a kayak tour. Unfortunately that wasn't possible because of the bad weather. But Bernie came up with a great alternative. We went on a spontaneous Jeep tour with Ryan and his lovely girlfriend Jenelle. We spent a fabulous day together. Ryan showed us his favourite spots on Cape Breton - real hidden gems we would never have found on our own! It was a great mixture of lookouts, waterfalls and hiking. All adapted to the weather conditions and our preferences. Ryan even made a little video of the day which he sent us afterwards. All in all, a really unique experience. THANK YOU!

Kayaked for 4 days during a week in Ingonish with multi-generation family. Many equipment options for single + double kayaks that helped us with various configurations for seniors and kids to go on their own. Excellent guidance re places to kayak and on which days to suit abilities. Excellent value. The kids said it was the highlight of their day, every day. Bernie very responsive by text and phone. Highly recommended if you're looking for an active Ingonish option with a very knowledgeable and accommodating operator.
