I don’t know what’s cooler—learning how to wrap cars like a pro or the fact that Shane, the owner of Wrap Academy, is so effortlessly awesome that I’m now questioning my friendships. Seriously, my buddies need to step it up.

Before taking this course, I thought my YouTube research had me somewhat prepared. Shane, being the legend he is, let me waste some material and attempt to wrap a hood based on my “prior knowledge.” Within 20 minutes, I realized I had approximately a 0% chance of ever doing this properly without guidance. If I had tried this alone, frustration would’ve made me quit faster than a bad first date. But with Shane’s help, it became such an epic experience that I actually decided to change careers and chase wrapping full-time!

Aside from the hands-on training, he also gave me a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to run a successful wrap shop. He answered all my business-related questions without hesitation, and his advice gave me the clarity and motivation to turn this passion into a profession.

I attended Vehicle Wrap Course Intensive 5 Day in-person course. With Shane Marten

and I can confidently say it was an incredible experience! The instructor was not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also went above and beyond to ensure we had a great learning environment. Unlike other courses I’ve seen, he gave us plenty of hands-on practice, which made a huge difference in building my confidence and skills.

What stood out most was how approachable and patient he was throughout the course. He explained every detail thoroughly, making even the more complex parts easy to understand. On top of that, he showed genuine care for the learning of all his students, he always worried about us resolving all our questions and learning how to fix mistakes, even surprising us with pizza on the last day—something that wasn’t even part of the course plan. Just completed the 5 day comprehensive vehicle wrap training course with Shane Marten. This course was everything I expected and more!! Shane reviews the material thoroughly and at a very manageable pace. His expertise was displayed throughout the week, especially when demonstrating the wrapping techniques. The most valuable element of this course is the days (yes, DAYS) of hands on experience which was vital for building confidence. Additionally, students have the opportunity to wrap an entire vehicle with industry leading vinyl and are provided with all the necessary tools to begin wrapping their own vehicles! The learning environment was appropriate for students from all walks of life as it was very inclusive.

Needless to say, I would recommend this course to anyone interested in vehicle wrapping. A 3 day course is just not enough, and social media simply cannot beat in-person learning!
