San Gil Tours — Local services in San Gil

It was clean and very nice.Doña Martha the owner was super sweet, and Alexandra at the front desk were super helpful giving us advice what to do in San Gil..We stayed there for one night. The room that we where in was for 6 people.One full bed and 3 bunk beds. It had two fans and we left the window open to let in some cold air..San gil is very hot so having 2 fans was amazing. Downstairs at the hotel is a tourist section where you can schedule with Daniel a location to travel to ( something relaxing like barichara , extreme sports or cascadas etc) If its to pricey to travel with a tour guide you can do what we did go to the terminalito(buseta) in San gil and take a bus to where you want to go for about $3-5 dollars. In April, a travelmate and I enlisted this agency for Las Gauchas and we did not regret the decision.

We could have made the trek on our own, however we were limited on time, and we would not have had the amazing photos that German took nor would we have known where the caves and deep pots were located.

Pick up was fairly punctual, and van was comfortable enough for us to nap on the way.

The lunch location was also lovely and everyone we encountered very friendly and helpful.
