If it is January and you are in the Alps you would be expected to know how to deal with a snow storm. The lack of information spoiled this lovely skiing resort for us. Staff could not tell us what lifts were open, but instead gave us wrong information, wasting half a day and causing us to carry skis half ways across the valley. They told us the bus would be free, but "Caroel" (if that is his real name, leaving at Prorel At 16.13 on 17.01.2018, reg DF 323 PL) decided to charge us but then changed his mind and did not charge some french people later at the bottom of another slope. When we asked him he said if we got on the bus stop at the supermarket not the one at the slope he wouldn't have charged us. What logic is this???? He could have just said he made a mistake. Read moreReally can’t understand how it got 4.5 starts on average. Elevators are old and slow,no seats in the Gondola. 2/3 seat elevators are very dangerous coming fast to loading area and hit you pretty hard. A few slopes get an incline in the middle of the slope,if you are not familiar with this slope you won’t have enough speed and you will stop and have to walk. Restaurants on the slopes don’t have waiters, food is bad, paid for a meal with soup and water 33€. If it was a cheap place (hotel, ski pass, equipment rent (150+€) it was ok but it’s a bad one and the prices are extremely high. Really guys save your money and go to a better place. In addition now 17/1/19 snow is in bad condition very icy and looks like no snow...

These dogs are simply doing their job and we were lucky enough that the owners called them back in time, but fair to say it was a scary experience for us and our 2 year old labrador.
In our experience the area around/above/ after the second plorel was very safe for both...
