The worst experience in a store I've ever had! I was buying a bunch of winter and ski clothes, which are bulky... I asked for help with those bags but they said they didn't have any. No one helped me. I tried them on and took them little by little to the cashier. In the changing room, no one helped me and the saleswoman was super rude and unwilling to help. I arrived to a messy changing room with boots and clothes and went in because they were full and she let me in. When I left, I was very full, I took the clothes little by little to the cashier (the manager later saw that I had left several there on the counter). Even without help, I was embarrassed and humiliated in front of everyone in the store, in public, in the checkout line, full of clothes and without help from the salesperson who didn't want to give his name and the manager gave me ZERO welcome. He forced me to go and take everything out of the changing room! I, a customer with a load of clothes in my hands, without any help!! And in the changing room there were things that weren't even mine! I never imagined being treated like that in a store! I had more than a thousand euros in clothes purchases and I couldn't even continue with this humiliation! Zara should, as a serious company, send a formal retraction! It all happened at the Champs-Élysée store on December 26th, today, around 7:30 pm in the dressing room on the last floor. There was only one working. The cameras could show me walking around with several clothes and ZERO help from the salespeople. I was disappointed with the manager who, even with her look, showed contempt for a customer. My only praise goes to the salesperson, who was human and very kind, spoke Portuguese, helped me and had the sweet and welcoming look that a company like Zara deserves to have. He...
Read moreI’m a frequent buyer from zara from allover the world, this was not my first visit to this branch, That day i was leaving zara without buying anything because it was insanely crowded, when I exited with a bunch of people as well , the store sensors made a sounds,I continued my way out coz I didn’t buy anything ,a security men followed me to the streets and asked me to go back to check,I went back voluntarily,a passed through the sensors and it didn’t make a sound, later the same security men was trying to take my blazer from my hands to check by force,(put in my mind that I’m fully dressed from zara that day and the blazer i was carrying is not available in that store) he was rude and unprofessional,i never saw something like that,he called his manager to talk to me to check my blazer and I’m telling him you don’t have it here plus the sensors doesn’t make a sound and he insisted to touch me and my stuff without my consent,at the end the manager was also rude i asked for an apology and he said I don’t know if i can make that happen.unprofessional staff rude, they hate tourists and the store smells and looks messy. I could’ve called the police for him for an assault when he was grabbing my blazer without my consent, but I didn’t want to ruin my trip. I do believe that they hate their jobs and probably they’re underpaid and that’s why they act that way...
Read moreParis was unseasonably cold for late September. We had just come from the beautiful Croatian climate and weren't prepared for the arctic Parisian weather that was in the high 50s and raining.
My girlfriend and I walked into this Champs-Elysees Zara to come up on some jackets out of necessity. This was the biggest Zara I have ever been in, it was so overwhelming.
They had a crazy selection and I tried on damn near everything. My main purchase was a jacket that I can only describe as something a chic Tim Riggins would wear. A French Tim Riggins if you will.
I also bought a tweed Zara Origins suit jacket that I will likely never wear, 2 button downs, and a black zip up sweater that fit perfectly under my French Tim Riggins jacket.
I'm knocking off stars because I LOATHED this check out system. It essentially follows you with cameras and rings them up right when you walk in. It missed an item and I couldn't add it manually. I was so frustrated that I went to the normal check out line to have a human being help me, but they directed me back to the robot check out line. Brutal.
I wore the hell out of the jacket and sweater tho. They were playing HUGE minutes on the Paris trip, couldn't have completed it without them.
