Sea Bus - Mykonos Old Port — Local services in Aegean

We rode this sea bus tonight, boarding after it arrived, the guy calling out New Port? multiple times. We confirmed, YES, New Port, boarded and paid. They then drove to the Old Port, boarded more people, and the guy walked up to us to collect money again, like 5 minutes after we had JUST paid. We tried to discuss it with him, but to no avail. Multiple parties ended up paying twice. They then drove back to this Sea Bus stop, saw there was nobody waiting (since they had just loaded them all and then charged them twice), and drove on to the New Port.

When you arrive at the New Port area, there are two stops: one at the marina and then one by the cruise ships. For a second we actually thought they might charge us all a third time for the distance from the marina stop to the cruise port stop! Ridiculous.

Ancient Greek town with very unique building structures and all white painted buildings. The town has walkways and it's free from vehicles. Peaceful it seemed but it's a disappointment for Sushi lovers as 2 or 3 places sell sushi and well known to the people who live and work there. However the town is a maze. One can easily get lost in that small town. Countless souvenirs and greek myth gods molded in brass and all other fine materials. The olive wood dominates most carpentry styles and designs. I was shocked to see a lot of genital replicas and toys portraying human private parts displayed in public places including places where kids and teenagers walk. Nakedness and sex seems to be normal in this region. May be I was raised in the wrong part of the world. The place is nice though.

Unfortunately the schedule table is not respected precisely, thus you might risk losing your ship connection from the new port! (Taxi is the better option in that case). Additionally the information given by the operators of the Seabus are contradicting the timetables something that might be confusing. For example our seabus left at 16:23 on 7th of May meanwhile the one before that left at 16:14!!(Normally it should be every 30min). All this confusion might be due to the fact that is the begging of the season. Anyhow, I trust this will be fixed. If this is due to another matter maybe you could enlighten me, I would be curious to know! Considring schedule tables are quite important in transportation, I will give 3 🌟 For rest all good!
