In our extensive explorations of spas in Bali, we recently turned to Zanti Spa in Seminyak on the recommendation of Google reviews. Intrigued by the range of offerings, my cherished friend and I decided to pamper ourselves with a 90-minute stone and deep tissue massage. Upon contacting the spa through WhatsApp as advised by the receptionist, we encountered some challenges. The insistence on upfront payment posed a dilemma as my international card could not facilitate online transactions abroad. To accommodate their requirement for payment in Rupiah, I had to engage the services of a currency exchange before our scheduled visit.
Despite our punctuality, the frequency of messages inquiring about our whereabouts appeared excessive, hinting at an underlying sense of apprehension on their part. Disconcertingly, the spa had undergone renovations since April 2024, a critical detail omitted in their communication. This unexpected development, coupled with the lack of aromatic ambiance typical of Balinese spas, left much to be desired, particularly considering the premium paid for the experience. The utilitarian converted hotel room setting further detracted from the envisioned indulgence we sought.
Regrettably, the overall service fell short of our expectations, failing to justify a return visit. The underwhelming experience only served to highlight the discrepancy between the anticipated luxury and the reality we encountered...
Read moreSince my favorite spa was fully booked, I had to search for another place. I checked for google reviews and this place looked nice. I immediately booked it. I did not notice this spa belonged to Marriott hotel. I booked it through the phone, so I did not know accurate rate.
I was so surprised to know its price was really expensive compare to average rate in Seminyak. I wanted to have long hour massage, however I felt burden because of its price, I just had one hour foot massage.
Actually foot massage was the cheapest one but still it cost more than300,000IDR.(tax/service charge was NOT included) Since we were two people we had to pay for almost 1,000,000IDR( around 100USD) The most important thing was I was NOT satisfied for massager’s skill. She just rubbed my foot and toe nail. I did not feel relaxed.
Facility and location was great but I was not happy for the quality. It is just my opinion but, I do not...

My advice? Skip the flower foot bath, scrub, and milk bath. These felt like unnecessary add-ons compared to the excellent massage. It’s worth considering for a special treat, though. This spa, nestled in Marriott Seminyak, is highly recommendable.
One minor issue: they requested a partial payment via WhatsApp before our visit, which was a bit off-putting, especially since we booked the same day. Hence, I’m giving...
