Went with my partner to find my rings but staff refuses to speak ENG/BM. My partner can speak Tamil so he does help translate but I dont understand why this have to happen. This experience has happened twice both times I went there. I dont understand why they refuse - do they not see me as human too? lol
Update: They reached out to us and apologise, which we do appreciate. However, since we will be their customer until next year, we will see if they walk the talk and actually improve or just reaching out for the sake of preserving online rating.
They asked me to take down the review because they claimed it would affect the salesgirl job but feel like it would be unjust. My first experience of only entertaining my partner by speaking Tamil was by the store manager. At one point, when I was joking with my partner saying "Eh my ring, I choose lah", he interjected by saying "No no no. It's the guy who pays so you have to follow him". Such a degrading statement. Lol, I actually cried after I left the store. For my second experience, the salesgirl refused to speak ENG/BM as per my initial review. Despite so, I must highlight that she went the extra mile in finding us the rings that I like. She went to the back and tried to open new rings /show us various designs
Honestly, the management should not threaten the livelihood of salesgirl whom is trying to make ends meet. They should in fact see this as a wake-up call to the management and is reflective of the company's culture & policy.

Despite visiting several shops in Georgetown and only finding the design I wanted at Malabar, Rani provided me with incorrect pricing information and did not acknowledge her mistake when I sought clarification. Her attitude and demeanor were unhelpful and unfriendly, which was surprising compared to my experiences at other jewelry stores in the area.
