Grandpa Denis is of Greek origin and is 92 years old. Yes, I said it well, 92. He is in excellent health, mentally, spiritually, physically ... Denis reads without glasses, he is always smiling and in the mood to talk. This place (which spreads over 7 ha) is a depiction of his spirit, his life, his skills, it's the accomplishment of everything he had imagined. Denis was an architect. Every stone and every plant were embedded according to his idea. We are the lucky ones who have the opportunity to stay in his paradise. Denis enjoys watching the children explore, run barefoot, and roll on the grass. This center is visited by unusual, special kinds of people. I am hoping for new knowledge and acquaintances. Hacienda Cristóforo, is a very old retreat, once you step inside its gates its like going back in time. Very rural and rustic, and oh so quiet, once inside its so quiet and peaceful you cannot hear anything of the outside world. You can stay there , but I cannot comment on that, as I personally have not stayed in its very rustic accommodation. There are various Salas there, which offer holistic seminars etc., I have been to a few over the years and enjoyed them, but I visit now once per week to have Thi Chi classes with a lovely lady called Mari. WOW! Cristoforo is such an amazing place! Anyone who needs to get away from 2020 has to come here and all stress, worries and anxiety will be gone.... There is just such calm when walking around the twined pathways, hearing the birds sing (I have never heard so many birds on Tenerife!), butterflies fly all around and it is just green and so quiet, so calm but rejuvenating! And such beautiful buildings hidden away in the greenery... The yoga halls?? OMG everything is just so beautiful and makes you feel so grounded.
