Stüssy Taipei — Local services in Taipei

This is Stussy's brick-and-mortar store, which doesn't have many. It's at the end of an alley, but there are cafes and restaurants nearby, so it's not a bad location if you want to enjoy the neighborhood. The store isn't huge, and while it doesn't have a huge selection, it doesn't have the same variety of items or sizes as the online store. It's a little different depending on the exchange rate, but it's similar to the online prices in the US, so if you're traveling in Taiwan, it's a good idea to compare online prices before you buy. I had a really disappointing experience at the Taipei Stussy store this evening. My family and I were hoping to buy a Stussy Taiwan shirt, but from the moment we entered, we were met with cold, unwelcoming stares. When I asked the staff if they had any of the shirts left, the response I got was a curt and dismissive “we don’t have any left” — no greeting, no attempt to help or offer alternatives, not even basic politeness like a “hello” or “thank you.”

I’ve shopped all over Taiwan and have always experienced warm, friendly service — until now. This was by far the most uninviting retail interaction I’ve had here. Really disappointing for a brand...

It’s a streetwear brand that Jennie is known to like.

Born out of street culture, the style is casual and relaxed. What catches the eye are the graphic T-shirts—usually a clean white base with the name of a city or country printed across the front.

The price runs a little over 90,000krw. For a single T-shirt, it’s certainly not something you’d call cheap.

Still, considering that it’s a well-known streetwear brand with a distinctive design, the price might not be entirely unreasonable.

I find myself wanting to try one on someday. Maybe on my next trip, I’ll pick one...
