Carefour Express 24 hrs — Local services in Dubai

One word: Horrible, This is why: No respect or concept of social distancing, no provision of hand sanitizers anywhere around the store, no concept of controlling as to how many customers should be inside at any given time to avoid over crowded space like in many other shops where they mention how many customers should be allowed inside to maintain social distancing.

This particular Carrefour didn’t care or follow the safety SOPs. Staff wasn’t available and people were shoving and pushing near the checkout counters.

Very poor design in respect of entrance and exits, the store has back alley entrance where there is no guard posted to check the temperatures of customers. Most of the customers just walked in from behind and entered the store without being checked or given gloves.

The staff was roaming about with their face masks pulled down to their chins, customers were roaming about without gloves or without using sanitizers as their are no sanitizer stations as one would now see in many public places.

I would request rather urge the Carrefour management to please look into this and send an observation team and make the necessary arrangements for the safety of the customers, Also enforce the SOPs for customers as well so they don’t become a...

Not as sophisticated or large as other Carrefour stores but has some good variety nonetheless. they maintain it very well. One of the many Carrefour stores that one can see around Dubai Sharjah Ajman. This is not the biggest Carrefour, definitely not the biggest and the most crowded Carrefour in Dubai. It's very easy to go to this store. Just a walking distance from where I live. Please be informed that weekend in UAE is Thursday and Friday.

The collection is limited to groceries and fruits and vegetables and bakery. Time to time they do have offers going on. It is a good idea because these offers are a great deal. Carrefour Market, a scaled down version of Carrefour Hypermarket, but that shouldn't lead a customer to believe a visit to this establishment would be any less gratifying.

The electronics section would be missed for IT Folks and GenZ whizkids, the groceries and household second remain unfettered.

And the branch at a stone's throw from Dubai Carmel School in Al Nahda is no exception. A mix of residential and commercial area, groceries are more important and a daily purchase than electricals and electronics.

And with the weekly offers, a visit to this establishment is never short of a mini adventure.
