The Cow Shed — Local services in Great Britain

What a stunning place. We had our original venue fall through 3 weeks before our wedding but the Cowshed rescued us and blew our original plan out of the water. Jo was absolutely incredible- she answered the phone immediately despite it being the evening, and when I woke up the next morning she'd already sorted out a number of options for us. She absolutely saved our wedding. The first time I ever saw the Cowshed was the day before our wedding when we arrived for check-in. I actually teared up because it was so stunning and I couldn't believe we were lucky enough to get married there. Jo and Tara were absolutely incredible every step of the way. Within a few short meetings we had replanned our entire rather complex event! We'll never be able to thank them enough really, but we'll never forget what they did for us. Thank you both so much. Just hoping someone I know gets married at the cowshed so I can head back!

We got married at the Cow Shed in November 2023 and honestly, I don’t think we could have picked a better venue! As soon as we looked around the venue, we knew it was the one. The blank canvas nature provided such a stunning backdrop while allowing us to add so many personal touches and have everything exactly how we wanted it. Everything was so well explained throughout the booking/planning process and Gill was always on hand to answer any questions/queries. We also booked out the on-site accommodation which really made the wedding extend over the weekend as well as making things so much simpler and easier on the wedding morning. The Cow Pads were also a great retreat from the hustle and bustle and we absolutely loved staying in this over the weekend. We would highly recommend the Cow Shed to any couples wanting a magical blank canvas venue – we had the most perfect day.

My wife and I got married at the Cow Shed in March 2024 and loved every moment. With their ‘blank canvas’ approach, you could do almost anything you like with it, but we felt the venue looked amazing just as it was. We had 50 guests and used the Workshop for the ceremony and dancing, the Roundel for dinner and the Barn for the bar and games area, not to mention the outside areas (although it was fairly freezing!) Plenty of space for everyone to spread out.

Jo was incredibly helpful in the lead up, always on the other end of the phone or an email to help us with any questions. Aksenia too was amazing throughout the weekend itself, whether that was helping with odd jobs, managing the suppliers or anything else we required. Plus she was so friendly the whole time.

Definitely going to have all my future weddings here ;)
