Rainbow Shops — Local services in Albuquerque

They still dont allow people to try on clothes given that they have a dressing room. This started because of covid, but I think Rainbow is making too much money to let go of this policy. I think they use this as a way to rip people off. I have always had trouble returning clothes. The return window is small, and if you dont have a PRINTED receipt, they only allow store credit, duping people out of their cash. Also, if you happen to lose your receipt and they look it up, you are no longer entitled to a refund, so you have no choice but to buy their clothing (even if you are unsatisfied with their quality). I end up paying more just drive there, buy the clothes, try them on at home and then drive all the way back just to return them. I found myself setting aside an entire day, just so I could make sure that I return any of the clothes that were defective or didn't fit. It sucks to leave the returns for another day because you risk forgetting about it or not having the chance because life happens. A lot of their clothes are very cheaply made, sweatshop style. I always have to check the seams because there are always holes, the pant legs and sleeves are often not the same length so I have to fold the clothes in half to check that the lengths are okay. The torso of the shirts is often uneven as well. I stopped shopping here because its just not worth the hassle and clearly their clothing is overpriced.

And to the ladies complaining about rainbow not opening on time, I dont think the manager cares because it's been this way for over 6 years 😂 and the workers treating customers like an inconvenience, its just...

I 1st visited rainbow last week to purchase some underwear and let me tell you, I have had some of the best customer service I've ever received in a teenager's retailing facility. The manager was kind and the associates were very very courteous and attentive to my needs. The clothing itself run small but that's easily fixed by going up a size or 2. The quality of the clothing is also very nice. I love with a not only the items that I anticipated on picking up but more and got very good value for the money that I spent. Thank you rainbow management and staff for all that you do! I will definitely make this my go to place to shop...

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I always shop here, I absolutely love the clothes but yesterday the way I was treated was down right unacceptable. I went to check out and had to wait at least a good 10 minutes before the lady came to check me out. When she walked up to the register she gave me a nasty look as if she was inconvenienced that she had to come check me out. Never spoke. Gave me the silent treatment the entire time and she was throwing the hangers behind her on the counter very aggressive.
