With this being said I was very disappointed with the gentleman that I interacted with today in the store.

I inquired about a Miswak stick which you briskly responded with "no we don't have that here is there anything else". The way in which you responded and then afterwards became angry with me, this was uncalled for.

This is no way to treat a person let alone a member of the Ummah.

I only assumed that a Muslim store would sell goods and items that pertain to people living a Muslim حلال lifestyle. I guess I was wrong.

it is sad when you encounter a member of the Ummah that acted this way. It made me angry and insulted my pride and honor.

I'm knew to halal, I'll start with that. But today, because I've driven by and seen the sign for hot coffee/deli, I came in for the first time wondering if y'all made hot food like gyros or sandwiches. The young girl behind the counter refused to put her phone down and talk, even when I asked her questions. She made me feel like an idiot for asking anything and would not help me, again refusing to put her phone down. I apologized and began to leave while looking up another place to eat and she followed me out and sat in her car with the door open, staring at me without saying anything, it was extremely awkward and unfortunately I'll never be returning...

What a great shop! Do not be put off by the small footprint as they offer all the best from the Middle East and Turkiye, plus some American items. I grew up in that region and it feels like home! If it smelled like strong coffee I would think I had teleported. Super nice owner and it is great to have a halal market in Arvada. This is a much more international community than the chain stores might lead you to believe.
