Fleur de Cuisine is one of 3 caterers that we did a tasting with when choosing one for our wedding. Their food was delicious, but the overall process did come with a few hiccups, which they worked very hard to overcome. Firstly, we showed up for our original tasting to a locked door and were able to get ahold of Natalie who told us they had some sort of emergency and she didn't have our contact info on her to get ahold of us. However, they quickly rescheduled the tasting and offered to come to our house and do it for us there.
Natalie was easy to work with overall, but I found it much easier to communicate effectively with her on the phone or in person than through email or text - it was much easier to understand what she was saying/suggesting and felt much more conversational, productive and problem solving than abrupt back-and-forth statements the other way. We enjoyed meeting Natalie and Chef Tiana.
Natalie was able to pick up perfectly on my vision to do stations with various themed foods, rather than the traditional plated or buffet style. She took my ideas and ran with them, and was even able to suggest ideas to help reign in our budget a little bit. They does offer table décor, design, and rental options too, but in the end we chose to have them focus only on the food that they do so well.
When it came time for our second tasting, again I was pleased with the phone conversation we had to help explain some options as well as explain to me how we were meant to pick a menu for our wedding without first trying a variety of options and choosing from those. We were also pleasantly surprised by the desserts offered to us at the tasting, and ended up having them make caramel apple party favors for us as well. They were also able to order wine for us at less than it would have cost to buy it ourselves.
I was a little disappointed that neither Natalie, her husband, or Chef Tiana was there day of to help execute everything that had been discussed. While the guests did tell us the food was excellent (and the Asian food station ran out very quickly because it was so popular), there are a few things that I think could have been run a bit better if someone we had previously talked to was there to oversee everything. The party favors were put out at the beginning of the night, and were not in the bags that we had provided (also an issue with the wedding planners, not just the caterers), so guests were eating them throughout the night. When our wedding band took their break and went to the kitchen for their vendor meals, they were told there were no meals for them, so they ended up eating from the stations as well. There were also desserts (included some pre-made cakes) that were put out, which guests thought was our wedding cake, and then after the actual wedding cake was sliced, apparently plates, knives and slices were never provided for the guests (which left us with an immense amount of leftover cake). Lastly, the woman who I believe was supervising the catering came to me at the end of the night and asked for my feedback/review, which was a nice gesture, however having been running around all night I didn't really have a grasp on what had and hadn't happened at the time and felt a little overwhelmed/taken aback by that happening so soon after the end of the reception.
Overall, I love what we got and I think the overall idea and vision was executed very well, and the food was tasty (from what I was told), but just a few things that I wish had gone...
Read moreUPDATE TO THE REPONSE - I want to clarify that the owner, Chef, was not the person onsite. I really am only writing this because she was not ever onsite to see the timing or know the presentation and to provide clarification. We initially emailed the owner privately to discuss our issues and as an owner, her response had lack of accountability and pridefulness showed a bad level of customer service. This led to posting the review so others can have the right expectations. My response is * below
We recently hired this company for a private chef dinner at a friend's house. We were disappointed with the communication, lack of professionalism, and poor execution. I would not recommend this company for their private chef experience. Hopefully, their catering is better. Overall, it was not worth the money, and for the same price, we could have gone to a very nice dinner. The owner was not pleasant to communicate with.
The day prior, we were informed of an additional service fee due to the distance, and an hour before, we were told that the chef would be an hour late compared to what was originally promised. She is correct, we were not charged a travel fee. There was an extra charge for a server due to the number of people.
The owner left a lot of details in communication until the week of the event and did make planning stressful. Our event was 6/20. When booking 4/29, we mentioned that we had very restrictive dietary restrictions and would need time to review in detail the menu. 6/12 was the first time she contacted us to go over the menu options. Our main POI responded but she did not respond back until 6/16. 6/17 menu is confirmed and we were informed that there would be an additional charge for the server. 3 days prior to our event.
The food portions were very small. The ingredients and plating did not offer anything special to justify such a small portion size, especially given the price of $120 per person. It was not impressive, and we ended up having to order food later.
*The menu items she listed were not correct. We did not have a cheese player. We had a “Greek Mezza” but it was just cut up veggies and dip. There was no cheese appetizer. The salad was a small handful of mixed lettuce, couple slices of peach and dressing on top. Nothing special. The pasta was a risotto that we ended up adding salt and pepper and garlic to make it less bland. The fish portion was the best part. The dessert was a dry lava cake with a cherry on the side. I still stand by my comment that for the price it was not worth it. The flavors were bland or boring. I would have been fine with the smaller portions if there was more effort made into the dishes.
We had purchased a dinner that included wine. The chef did not bring out the wine until the very end of the dinner. Thankfully, we had brought additional alcohol, but we were counting on those bottles. Moreover, the bottles provided were not of nice quality; after looking online, we found they are just $12 bottles. DO NOT PAY EXTRA FOR THEIR ALCOHOL.
We did reach out to the owner before writing this review and received excuses instead of real...

Fleur de Cuisine — where do I even begin? Chef Ramos and her phenomenal team didn’t just cater my daughter’s wedding… they became the heartbeat of a day our family will cherish forever.
This wasn’t just an event. It was the most important day of my daughter’s life — and as her father, I wanted everything to be perfect. Thanks to Fleur de Cuisine, it was beyond perfect. From the very first meeting, Chef Ramos exuded passion, professionalism, and a calming confidence that immediately put us at ease. She and her team took our vision — a sunflower-themed celebration of love and joy — and transformed it into something truly magical.
The décor was breathtaking. Every table setting, floral arrangement, and tiny detail radiated warmth and beauty. It felt like stepping into a dream. But what impressed me even more was the staff — every single person was kind, attentive, graceful, and completely committed to making the day seamless. You could feel the pride they took in their work.
And then — the moment of crisis. A last-minute weather scare threatened everything. Without skipping a beat, Chef Ramos and her team pulled off a literal miracle, arranging a tent with zero notice. It was a true “Hail Mary” moment, and they handled it with such calm and urgency that we were able to breathe again. That moment alone proved their dedication, heart, and professionalism.
And the food? Absolutely exquisite. Every dish was a work of art — not just visually stunning, but full of flavor, creativity, and love. Guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. Fleur de Cuisine delivered a dining experience that matched the emotional importance of the day.
As a father, watching my daughter glow with happiness and knowing she was surrounded by such excellence brought tears to my eyes. This team didn’t just cater a wedding. They became part of our family’s story.
Thank you, Chef Ramos and every member of your extraordinary team. You made the impossible look effortless, and we will...
