Shoutout to Kevin! This guy is amazing. I came into the store a couple of nights ago looking to get a Nintendo Switch. I noticed that there were a couple of people at the front. One guy, we will call Joe, was selling a phone. They were going through the steps, and Kevin was consistently reassuring Joe that he would be taken care of. Joe kept asking for the money to be "store credit." So, that's what he got, except the customer expected a Visa Mastercard with the money on it, not "actual" store credit. Unfortunately, there's no way back from the exchange, and the customer was feeling stuck and even scared because he didn't want that "kind" of store credit. Kevin was effectively able to use his skills in customer service to keep the customer calm and provided solutions. Joe left the store feeling satisfied that Kevin helped. Frankly, I didn't mind waiting, and I really enjoyed watching Kevin handle his customers. Even when the situation got tense, he was able to keep calm. Towards the end of the night, I got to purchase and ask Kevin questions. What I found out is that Kevin is very knowledgeable. If he didn't say he wasn't the manager, I wouldn't have been able to tell...
Read moreSold a large portion of my physical Nintendo Switch collection, was told trade-in value was $250+.
The associate Bear put it as cash on a pre-paid card instead after upselling me the Pro-membership for more on my return, causing me to lose over $100 of my return because he provided cash instead of credit.
I tried to return to the store less than 5 minutes later (admittedly after closing), and they turned me away. Which would be fine, if I didn't attempt to call them every day for the past two days to see if they would even attempt to rectify it or if there is anything I can do. They do not answer the phone, various times over two seperate days.
I wouldn't have sold 20 games for $152, I would've liked the trade-in credit or my games back. At this rate - keep the games, the membership, and I'll take the money elsewhere.
I was a pro-member since 2010, even worked for GameStop. Terrible company as a consumer, and as a worker. Good riddance and buy digital or somewhere they aren't paid...
Read moreI have nothing against Gamestop - however this location is absolutely terrible. We have been trying to keep coming for months but we have finally accepted that nothing about this location will ever change...we are never coming back to this location. The employees and manager here are beyond rude. I don't even understand how this particular location is still open! They treat their customers badly every time. One guy in particular, Danny or Dillon - whatever his name is...starts with a D - is an absolute joke. He's probably the worst employee there. Every. Single. Time. We have gone in when he is working, he has been unreasonably arrogant, and flat out rude. He will question your integrity and it is really appalling. The manager there is just as rude and acts like a know-it-all and will practically have her nose high in the air. Seriously...just avoid this location at all cost. This location is an...
