My nails were very damaged from other places i had been around town -over use of drills on my natural nails and toenails..(tf) i took everything off all my nails (only get dip on fingers and gel polish on toes) for a couple weeks my nails stayed very short. .frequently breaking/splitting until the damaged part grew out some. Went nervously to After Hours to get dip on my fingers so they would stay strong enough to grow out a little bcse they just kept breaking. Normally I get clear dip with plain glitter worked in as an ombre..but as short as they were I knew that was unlikely. I told the owner of the shop (i forget her name.shes very nice) all this and what I usually get . She agreed that they were too short at that point for the ombre part. Totally fine.

I was good with just Clear and a little bit of glitter tapped on for now. Susan was my nail tech and she did such a phenomenal job fixing my cuticles, shaping my damaged nails and even worked in the glitter ombre! Got a pedicure since my nails were fixed so well. Pedi was just as great. I didn't have to ask her like i have to most others to cut down the outer side of the big toes ("ingrown" part) she just did it.... she used the stand to hold my foot up..which I feel is more professional and makes it so they don't have to rush thru the scrub. Then if it wasn't already a sealed deal..she went straight to the block scrubber.. I didn't have to ask her not to use the cheese grater...she didn't even attempt to!. The polish and lines I requested she got perfectly (I always get the same colors/design) ...I didn't have to ask her to fix anything.. the lines were evenly curved and looked great. The icing on the cake was that after all of this they didn't ridiculously over charge me for the things I asked for. Pricing was amazing! To say I'll be back is a given! I just can't say enough great things about these ladies!

Natalie was really welcoming and nice. I called and asked if they have any availability, and she was able to setup my appointment and once I arrived, she was extremely kind and helpful. The only issue I faced was with my nail tech who seemed extremely distracted and made me feel like she was trying to rush me out. I’m not sure if she was having an off day or had something urgent going on, but she was harsh a couple of times while doing my nails and almost cut me three times. She left in a hurry twice and would come back in a rush. She also seemed to be in a hurry to check her phone. Additionally, she barely spoke a word or even said hi. The only time she spoke to me was to complain about my nails being weak and to tell me to not get French nails and instead to just paint them. I could tell she was irritated by the fact that I wanted French tips. The whole experience with her made me feel really uncomfortable. Outside of this, I really did like the salon and the women there seem really kind. When my nail tech left while I soaked off my nails without giving me the dip color options to choose from, Natalie came and provided me with the colors and helped me choose. She made my 2 star experience a 4 star. She was extremely sweet. I also saw how careful and thorough the other nail techs were, and also how friendly they are. I CANNOT recommend this establishment enough and thank them for going above and beyond for me. I was in a pinch and needed a fill for my builder gel (hydra tap, bio gel) all the same. I had a full day with a wedding the next day and didn’t want to show up looking crazy. I called multiple salons with about 40 min left before they closed and was told no by all except for After Hour Nails. It made for a long day, but these ladies accommodated me and had me come in at 7:30 to do my fill after I got off of work. We played music, they offered a glass of wine, with refills, though I stuck to just one :). Susan was my technician. Don’t let her focus and quiet demeanor rub you the wrong way. She is thorough and kind beyond measure and did a fantastic job shaping my nails into the shorter almond shape that I prefer, which most technicians are unable to do. She also didn’t make my nails too thick. I left very happy with my service and would happily return (if I weren’t moving). Thank you again!!!

Observations: street parking in fed hill. I got lucky and got a spot very very close but I can imagine some difficulty at certain times. I tipped in cash, though my receipt gave the option to add tip (I...
