Save A Lot — Local services in Bartow

9/18/21: I dont know if the store is going out if business or perhaps they are going to remodel, but the sale steaks were old and and brown, the chip section was gone even though the chips were in the sake ad and with a buy 2 bags and get a free onion dip, bogo eggs were not there, 15 pks of Pepsi on sale not there, in fact it seemed like the soda section was also just gone. I have tried to shop for advertised sale items for 3 weeks now....and NOTHING but a waste of time. This is a TERRIBLE WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS!!!

They hardly ever have the sale items. it could be a great store but they don't have the sales items so I have to shop elsewhere. 6/10/21 UPDATED REVIEW: I got a special coupon sheet and saw that it claimed that there were new owners. I sent my son, who shops for me, for some of the sales items last Saturday, not only did they actually HAVE the sale items(that was a rarity in the past), but he came out with a free insulated bag full of free savalot items. This was above and beyond nice. A new sales ad came out tuesday and it advertised sirloin steak for 3.99lb....ok, I was SO surprised and appreciative that he was able to get 4 beautiful steaks and also very nice pork chops for 1.49lb. THANK YOU NEW OWNER. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. 7/10/21 updated review: back to bad practice of not having sale items, especially the steaks and roasts!! Today I decided to go buy a few things at Save A Lot. The peppers I needed were almost out and I need more. There was an unattended pallet on the floor that had what I needed. I got what I needed and proceeded to shop for more produce. A cashier came up to me and told me that I could not get anything from the pallet with out asking first. I explain to her that what I needed was out on the rack and that they had some on the pallet and no one was there for me to ask. She proceeded to tell me that I couldn’t get anything without asking her first. I put my items back and the manger on duty did nothing to address her behavior. Had a customer in the parking lot state that he will not be back to this store and apologized for her rudeness. I will not shop here again as clearly neither the Manager or employee care about customers and...

I went on over to get the 40oz Bag of Chicken Breast and they were all Frosted over where I couldn't see the Chicken Meat. The Chicken Breast Patties look very small. I couldn't tell if they were made that way or if the Patties broke apart. They had Roma Tomatoes on sale. The Red ones was either over ripe or really soft. Couldn't find any good red Tomatoes that was firm. When Save-A-Lot had Pepsi six pack of 20oz Bottles on sale a couple weeks ago. They didn't Order enough and ran out. Their sale started on Wednesday and I went in on Friday afternoon only to find out that the Pepsi display was complete gone. A Good Display should be Full for the...
