GameStop — Local services in Columbus

The guy cashier here tricked me into buying a membership. He lied to me by telling me that I could get a $5 credit every month for 12 months, and that many people who have the memebership redeem their monthly $5 that expires every month with a gift card. So, in my mind that would mean by the end of the year I would have a cumulative $60 to spend on a game or something with 12 $5 gift cards. As it turns out, the lowest gift cards you can buy are worth $10, not $5. Now I have to spend my $5 monthly credit on useless things every month instead of being able to save it up to $60 at 12 months. Also, gamestop keeps displaying items they don't have like the PS5...

As far as merchandise goes, it’s your pretty standard Gamestop. But the staff is awful. When AC Odyssey came out, I had a pre order and was supposed to be able to go to an early release. There was a delay on shipping from Ubisoft’s side, so that isn’t the fault of Gamestop. They said they would call when it came in. It had been over a week so I went in person to buy a copy to play while I was waiting for mine to come in and then sell to a friend. I've had several issues with this gamestop. I bought a game up there for 99 cent with the original case and they gave me a fake case and kept the one with Michael Jordan on it. Then told me I did not bring it up to the counter . I called the store and which treated with such disrespect it wasn't even funny I was called a liar. That's what prompted me to call the corporate office I spoke A-day layer with the regional manager who said he'd take care of it would be waiting for me when I got there.
