Share my experiences, and that is just what I am going to do. I had never purchased clothing from Torrid before let me start by saying that. I am a busy mom, with a busy family, but when a cute outfit appeared on Facebook, I clicked on the link it took me to Torrid, I found a lot of clothing that I would wear. After having recent Gastric Bypass surgery, and starting a blog to help others, the clothing Brand "Torrid" would come up in conversation. So I placed an order, and had it shipped to the store, "can't trust the neighbors." A few weeks had passed, I called the store to see if they had my order, and they kept saying did I get an email, I said, no & they said don't worry you will get an email when your order is here. A few days go by, no email, my called again, made the woman go check. She said she was so busy, I told her I would hold the line until she had a moment, sure enough my order was there. Called customer service, my order had been there a week, too lazy to check. I thought it was a fluke, that was until I placed my second order. Same exact thing happened. This time I called Thursday thru Sunday of last week, today is Wednesday. The team member didn't want to check on Thursday, on Friday, they said they didn't recognize the name, so it probably wasn't there, and Saturday they girl said she checked but it wasn't there. NOPE IT WAS, I don't live near that store - it's 19 miles from my home. So when I was out in that area I was told "my order wasn't there." NOPE you were just too lazy to check. I wasn't important! You didn't care about me as a customer to take the time to jot down my name and look or even call me back. I just got a Torrid Card, I will be paying it off and will not be a return customer. No call from a manager shows me you don't care, even after calling...
Read moreTorrid should be very aware that their store employees make the brand. Their prices have gone up , quality is down and you can't order online and excpect to receive anything . The great news I have never had a bad in store experience ever. This location tends to go above and beyond even when not asked . Please pay these ladies more than they are worth.
As a side note the compaints that are giving this store one star are fairly ridiculous . I was a DM in the late 90s and 2000s for another plus size clothing chain. Customer service will not reach out to a store manager regarding a compaliaint blogger lady . You should have called annd asked for the manager . All associates are human , and most them are ridiculously under paid and the managers and key holders are absolutely over worked and underpaid. Retail has not been a full service industry for over 4 decades . Please think of this when you lodge your "complaints" as you but 80...
Read moreThe older woman with short hair is unfriendly and lacks customer service. She refused my return with receipt and tags still on it because there were a few dog hairs. While I understand why, a lint roller would have taken the few of them off. Went to Polaris, and they had no problem with it, then explains why the other lady wouldn't take it, which I had guessed right, but that they could run a lint roller over the item!!!! This location has given me problems in the past with being closed randomly during business hrs and not always great staff or selections.
