Just listened to the traveling manager, Doug, publicly belittle, a young lady that worked there. Asking her to, on the spot, listed the 7 areas of focus for GameStop, what makes the store great and when she wasnât sure - he would talk down to her as if she should have. He proceeded to give her back handed compliments, acting completely phony, and then he asked her how much she made an hour, which she embarrassedly answer, and he told her âthatâs awfulâ and lied to her that he was going to try and get her more money. The icing on the cake was when he, again out front of the store in front of me, started making fun of some employee Devin for being âto rockâ because of the cloths they wore. Doug proceeded to tell the young lady how Devin wasnât a leader but she was and her âshadow casts a light - if she smiles - people will smile - Devinâs not like that. But Devinâs cool - youâre cool! Iâm cool. Iâm not like Meghan. She was awful. Did you work for her? She was so awful.â Meghan was a former manager or something. Anyway, my experience at the store awful based solely on this phony Butthead manager named Doug, belittling some entry-level employee as if she should be pledging allegiance to GameStop every morning. Gosh he was awful. I stayed to listen to him insult her and when he left; I apologized to the young lady for how he treated her and told her to not let it get her down; that Doug was an absolute loser of a boss. Shame on you Doug. I left without buying anything but I will be back. Hopefully the young lady is working and Devin so I can compliment him on his ârockâ...
   Read moreI have become very disappointed in Gamestop. Six months ago I received an email telling me the company was changing their policy regarding rewards points. For the past three weeks I have been trying to use my rewards points online for christmas. Two days ago I sat down at the computer to use my rewards for a present for a 5 year old. My points were gone. I contacted customer service and essentially have been told too bad so sad. Again I was told I received and email back in May and June. Since then I have received nothing. I could not find anywhere in my Gamestop account where it said I would lose my points because they expire. Gamestop has taken advatage of its customers and pro members, it is a crying shame they expect people to recall an email from six months ago during the holiday hustle and bustle.    Read moreTwo years ago I bought a guaranteed âCertified Pre-Ownedâ Xbox Series X from this Gamestop for close to $450. I was assured it worked perfectly, and went home happy. As soon as i plugged it in, i noticed the HDMI port was loose, and would not connect unless finessed for several minutes. I would have to repeat this HDMI-reconnect every day or so. However, I was not too concerned, as this was certified to be in good working order. This evening, I took my Xbox out to clean it, and noticed an HDMI pin was completely missing. How can you justify this?? New consoles are over $600 now due to tariffs. âCertified pre ownedâ how about certified fraud?
