I was in Ocean City on vacation with my Fiancée when our car experienced an issue with our rotors and brakes, producing a loud scraping sound when driving. Called around, and Tom's Auto was the only shop in the region willing to diagnose the problem over the weekend. He diagnosed the problem on a Sunday, ordered the parts, and fixed the issue early Monday morning. The pricing was very fair, I definitely was not taken advantage of because I was from out of town. Tom is an excellent communicator, friendly, knowledgeable, kind, and patient. His excellent service was the only reason I was able to have some peace of mind and enjoy my vacation despite our car issues. Could not recommend Tom's Auto more highly. 5 stars just aren’t enough!! Tom is terrific! While on vacation in Ocean City from Richmond, I had a serious mishap with my Kia Soul where I damaged my oil pan and oil plug and cracked my oil pump. I called around to a lot of mechanic shops for an emergency diagnostic but couldn’t get an appointment. My last call was to Tom’s Auto and he took me right away. Not only was he able to diagnose the problem but, understanding my plight as an out-of-town vacationer, he worked late in order to get my car done by the next afternoon. I’m so glad I found Tom. Fastest turn around I have ever experienced for my car repair. My vehicle was diagnosed the same day it arrived with the parts ordered that day. My car was repaired the same day the part arrived!
