Bait and Switch: A 2-Part Tale: Part 2 [Part 1 can be found on the Edina Canna Google page.]
Leaving Edina Canna, I fully intended on spending that $65.50 [give or take] at Minnesota Canna, regardless of the sour experience I had just had at their sister location. I also intended to speak with them about what had happened as I figured they'd care to know. I walked in and went up the female employee whom had assisted me just last week with a purchase. She was really fun to talk to and appeared to be genuine so, I felt the most comfortable approaching her. After being greeted, I told her I had some feedback to share but, that it may be above her pay grade and asked if I should speak to a manager? She said ‘No, you can talk to me.’, which I did. I explained what I wrote in Part 1 and showed her the receipt confirmation from Edina Canna [photo included in Part 1 review.] She listened but, showed little interest in what I was saying. Another female employee came over and asked what was going on. I, again, explained the entire mishap to her. She then said she was going to get a manager. Great, finally. Soon, another manager who appeared to be more of a stuffed suit, rather than someone who regularly partakes in grass, emerged from a back room. I understand all sorts of folks enjoy fly high and hippie stereotypes of smokers are no more BUT, both of these managers looked like the closest they ever came to being high was when they ate a weed brownie, once, back in college, on a dare. Anyways, I, once again, retell the annoying tale of disappointment I had just experienced at Edina Canna to the male manager in front of me and the three employees gathered around him. He listens, looks at the receipt and says ‘Huh.’ Huh?? I press him about the obvious issue with the pricing. He nods but, says nothing. As I had mentioned above, my intention for coming here was two-fold: to mention this complaint AND purchase some grass because, now I’m really wanting it after all of this tomfoolery. LMAO! He seems completely unconcerned, no sense of compassion or wanting to address the issue was detected in his demeanor. He did say he was going to ‘call Edina and see what’s going on over there.’ He did not apologize nor did he offer to price-match/something similar for a return customer who provided printed proof of the problem and not just unfounded complaints. The four of them then just stood gawking at me from behind the counter and I felt completely embarrassed for even bringing it up. This was so off-putting that I decided to never spend another cent with any of the ‘Canna’ branded stores. As I left, they all thanked me for coming in. Ya’ll got jokes, yeah? Well, what I find comical is that there’s a bunch of other well-stocked dispensaries within a ten mile radius of these two locations, with more shops opening daily. I can go to many other places to be over-charged for mid+-level grass without deceptive sales tactics and corporate greed weed ‘dealers’ ruining the experience and/or my buzz. Put that in your pipe and smoke it mmmkay? :)
I stopped in to get the 40$ 4g special they had going. The lady that helped us was very friendly, she was professional, and also knew how to make you feel welcome with a little small talk. The environment is very warm and inviting and the staff are knowledgeable
Great location, high-quality product, and excellent customer service. I will be returning! OG Lit was a great strain that was recommended to me - ditto this recommendation to others!
