Walked in the store probably about 5 to 6 minutes before it was time for them to close.at 9pm. Instantly when I walked in I hear ma'am we're closing in 3 minutes. Then I heard an announcement saying that they were closing in 6 minutes. Then another announcement saying they were going to be closed in 4 minutes. Understandable I'm quite sure they were ready to go home no problem it's not what you say it's how you say it. You could hear the attitude in her voice. Like she was disgusted that I had the nerves to walk in there a few minutes before they close. And this person name is Brenda. If you can't have the right attitude dealing with customers then you should not be in no authoritarian position. She didn't even greet me when I walked in (hey how you doing) but you can yell at me from behind the desk on another side of the room we're closing in 3 minutes ma'am. I didn't think that was professional or courteous but very rude!!!!! I was behind a lady that was in a scooter and evidently her check wouldn't work so Brenda got so frustrated with that lady till she was slamming stuff down after she had to cancel out that order. And her little sidekick was down with it as well. The only person that showed respect and professionalism was Grace the cashier I checked out with❣️ She greeted me with a smile and hey how you doing🥰 She was patient/pleasant with me because I was having an issue with checking out as well as the lady in the scooter before me. The other two ladies kept coming over there with attitudes saying what's the problem is everything okay. And then Brenda had the nerve to tell the cashier Grace I'm sorry that you're still in here after you should be off already and Grace replied oh it's no problem. I wish I could give them zero stars. But thank you Grace you have that name for a reason you are such a sweetheart GOD bless you and continue being the light...
Read moreWinn-Dixie in Fairhope has turned over a new leaf. I remember what the store was like, it seems many years ago. Since I no longer go to the Senior Center there due to illnesses, then I no longer go to Winn-Dixie there. Today was a treat. After a doctor's appointment I decided to stop at Winn-Dixie Fairhope ILO driving to Foley Winn-Dixie. I was surprised at all the upgrades in decorum, display, and fruit presentations right at the entrance. This tells you that fruits and vegetables should be your FIRST choice of foods. Then came the meats in the next section where you can grab some chicken wings and things with the fruit and be on your way back to the job. Everything was clean and beautiful. It was a pleasure to shop there as it is at Winn-Dixie in Foley. The Foley Winn-Dixie redesigned the entire floor and the presentations are just as lovely as the presentations in Fairhope. Good for you Winn-Dixie. Sometimes you just have to get rid of the old stuff and upgrade...
Read moreI went today to pick up a few things, and went to check out. The lane I came to was having trouble so they redirected me to another register with no waiting. As I approached and started to unload the lady working was reloading her register tape. She did not speak to me or acknowledge me at all, and as I tried a few times to scan the app from my phone, she still never said anything. I finally asked if it was working and she snapped at me and said “if you will wait until I am in the system it will work” she then rang me up, bagged my groceries (2 bags) and never said another word to me. Ms Jackie may have been having a bad day, but she was more concerned with checking the notifications on her Smartwatch and smacking her gum than providing a pleasant experience for her customers. I don’t think I will be stopping in this store again because of how...
