Verde Market — Local services in Fort Lauderdale

Really used to love this place until recently. I don’t live close by and go out of my way to buy these organic products from produce to seasonings to hair wash and laundry detergent. At this point I don’t know if items just sell out in bulk or are discontinued. I make sure to call now so I don’t waste my time driving the distance if they don’t have the products I need. The last 4 times have been them telling me over the phone they have it all and they just restocked in bulk, and when I arrive in the afternoon there is not even a scratch left of anything I thought they just replenished? Ok maybe it sold out those first two times because the entire neighborhood came and bought. But how about the last 2 times where I come 20 minutes after calling and again literally nothing available from what I made sure to call and ask. I’m not sure if you just want me to come in and buy an alternative but literally what is the alternative to eggs, beef tallow, apple cider vinegar, detergent sheets, seasonings, etc. Thanks but no thanks, this is no longer a guarantee even when speaking to the...

So happy 🙌😉😊 Verde came to Ft. Laud, use to shop at their location near Wynwood amd begged them to consider a shop in Broward County. Reducing our carbon footprint is easier when you shop here. Try to remember to bring your own containers...but if you stop here unexpectedly or are new to zero waste shopping, they have empty containers you can purchase. You weigh your empty container and the tare weight is deducted when your item is weighed after you fill it with product. BRILLIANT! They have a great selection of bulk foods and also skin, bath, body products. Highly recommended if you are doing your best to #GoGreen The staff has always been helpful in exaining how it all works. Check this place out, especially for the clean beauty products.

There are several "customers" listing 1 star reviews, but I find it ironic that they have ONLY EVER written 1 review. Im assuming they must be conflict of interest reviews and fake accounts started to bring down the overall score of Verde, NOT COOL!...

I'm so happy Verde has come to the Fort Lauderdale area. This is a wonderful store, doing their part for the planet and making it easier for us to do the same. You bring your own containers or you can purchase containers from there (meant to be reused), you weigh your container and get a specialized tag, then fill up on what you want, the prices are normally by ounce, once finished take it to the cash register and they weigh your jars filled minus the weight of the jar on its own. The prices are very reasonable and they are very helpful as well, they'll help you fill up your jars...
