I went to this shop looking for a pair of black pants. No one offered to help me and in fact the two employees continued to yak at the cash register while I searched on my own. Found several pair and took them to the dressing room BY MYSELF! Never did either of the Yakkers ask me it they could help.!I really loved the pants I tried on, almost bought them but decided to respect myself and move on. Went to Alter Ego where the owner herself hung up the phone and asked how she could help. I bought black pants for almost twice the price as Affordables.. and I’ll never go back. I was looking for a dress for a special occasion and fell in love with 2 dresses. Doesn’t that always happen 😂. I decided on one dress and sadly left the other dress behind. I had just walked into another store down the road when the manager/owner of Affordable's walked into the store I was in. She had chased me down to tell me they had over charged me ( they had missed the new mark down price). Who does that? This honest business woman does! Just walked out. Lady in the store who works there, not sure if it was the owner or not saw me browsing literally in front of her never greeted me, asked me if I needed any assistance, nothing. Walked around me and literally asked someone else in the store if they needed help. Discriminate probably based on the fact that my tattoos showed but failed to see all of the silent luxury I was wearing she wouldn’t have a clue what they were!
