Growing up, GameStop was one of my favorite places to visit with my family, so it pains me to write this. I stopped by this location today after grabbing Starbucks, and the decline in quality was hard to ignore.
To start, there was zero customer engagement. No greeting, no acknowledgement—just silence. Walking in felt like stepping into a ghost town. While I don’t expect five-star service at GameStop, a simple “hello” goes a long way, and it was disappointing to be completely overlooked.
The store itself was equally disheartening. Displays looked tossed together with no care or organization. Merchandise felt scattered, as if no one was maintaining the space. It honestly resembled a flea market more than a retail store. Instead of being able to browse easily, it felt like a messy scavenger hunt where you don’t even know where to start.
Overall, this was a bad experience. I truly hope management steps in to improve customer service and store upkeep because GameStop used to be a place I loved visiting. Sadly, I can’t recommend this location in its...
Read moreI ordered South park fractured but whole gold edition for PS4. The order was confirmed ready for pickup so I drove about 20 mins out of my way from work there. When I got there they had a standard edition which was the wrong order. That's fine and then they pull out a GUTTED COPY and said this is the only copy they had and had the dlc code separately. Now I don't really care if that's all they had but q common courtesy is to call the customer and explain that they dont have the brand new unopened copy ready for pickup like they advertised. The employees just didnt care that I wasted my time to get there. This is one of the many reasons I stopped supporting game stop and will continue to always use this company as a last resort. Called best buy and got the price match and guaranteed brand new unopened copy within 10 minutes. Save your money and support a company that cares about...

I bought a used console at GameStop along with a one-year warranty. The next day, I went back to return it—not because it was broken, but because I realized I wasn’t going to use it. They refused to refund the money I paid for the warranty, even though everything was returned in perfect condition.
The guy who sold it to me was a brown-skinned man with dreadlocks. He didn’t explain that the warranty was non-refundable. When I came back, I asked a different employee for help, and he just said, “I don’t know, I didn’t do that transaction,” instead of simply asking the other guy. He clearly didn’t care and didn’t even try to help.
They’re not transparent, and once they get your money, they don’t want to give it back. Bad service and shady behavior. I don’t...
