Absolutely the worst store in the area you're better off going to Rochester. I had contacted Gamestop to inquire what the procedure was to cash/trade in graded pokemon cards and was told by two different people that all Gamestops accept them for cash and trade. Now with this information I decided to hit up this store because it is closer to me and wasn't able to go to another store. I get there and am told they don't do cash because of city ordinance which makes Absolutely no sense because right across the street is a LGS (local game shop) that take trades and cash. So I told the employee working that I don't accept this and I would like to speak to his manager or someone in charge as I was told by two different employees that I can cash these in or trade at "ANY" Gamestop. We'll the manager was break so I left the store to make a phone call to another Gamestop to confirm my information and this manager leaves the stores while im out by the vibrating chairs they have in malls and confronts me while im on the phone and gets in my face threatening to call security and squared up with me and I told him to go back into his store and leave me alone and that I am on the phone confirming my information he didn't like....now I took that as a threat and we'll within my rights to defend myself period. I wasn't even in the store and was polite but stern after being given false information. Respectfully that manager was about to have a very bad night and I sincerely mean that in a physical way and I had cameras and a witness to back my case. ANYONE FROM GAMESTOP THAT READS THIS NEEDS TO REMOVE THAT MANAGER FROM HIS POSITION!!! And I can't seem to contact customer support because when I do it rings and then goes straight to a busy signal. You do not threaten customers and if Gamestop doesn't fix it...
Read moreHave come in here to BUY usually all of my games but as of today I will never come back due to how I was treated during a RETURN. I get it, returns suck and sometimes people try to be shady so you need to be careful but it's part of the business ESPECIALLY during the holidays, if you can't handle it then don't work retail. But today Aaron was completely happy helping everyone buying. I waited in a line of about 7 people, all of whom were talked to and THANKED (A lost art I know) but he was doing well. I get up there, 3 days after a purchase of a couple games. My fiancè reminded me we got our son games already so I was supposed to return the extras. My turn, I say I need to do a return and all I got from Aaron was a sarcastic "ok". He then didnt say anything else until the end when when handing me my chanage says "here you go". And that was it...that'terrible customer service. All customers should be Thanked the same, you don't know how much I have bought or will buy. But you can rest assured if you don't treat me right on a return you won't get anymore of my business. Go to Best Buy, they will treat you better and price match in the rare case its not...
Read moreI've stopped by this store 3 times since the Nintendo Switch 2 released earlier this month, and out of every store I've been to, the customer service here was hands-down the absolute worst out of everyone I dealt with. Before I even get the question out "Do you have Nintendo Swi... "NO!!!" I swear these kids cannot handle a console release without being total D-bags to customers. Here you'd think that the people who want to work here would be happy to interact with video game enthusiasts, and would at very least be a little bit more professional when someone asks a question. One dude, flat out was refusing to answer any questions that I had regarding the re-stocking of the console. I asked him several questions, including "can you maybe just tell me if the store has received any shipments in the past 2 weeks?" He says "I can't give you that information"... SO stupid, I'll be more than happy to go somewhere else then, and also for the rest of my life, Pro...
