I went in here once when it first opened. After browsing for a bit I found an intrigue mid range priced bottle of rum for around $20.00. The owner refused to sell to me because I wanted to use a credit card and didn't have ID. Visa/MC merchant policy requires merchants to accept cards without ID. Went up the street to one of the Kosher markets and they where more the happy to sell me a $20.00 bottle of bourbon without any hassle. (and I yes I am obviously over 21). Read moreI stopped in to check out the wine selection at The Cask, the wine store nearest son's and daughter-in-law's place in LA. Because of California's pandemic regs -- I guess -- I couldn't browse. But then I noticed that the few wines I could see from the door we're Kosher. I wasn't looking for Kosher wine, so I bailed out and moved on, after a nice conversation with the owner about the state of the wine biz.
