I Purchased a new mario party 8 R/C race car at this location. Once opened, we found it was defective out the box. It was for my daughterâs 9th birthday. When returning 4 days later with receipt to exchange. I was told it is GameStopâs policy not to return open box items. After reading both the receipt, and store policy I found it does not mention new defective items, and fought with store manager. I had her read the policy back, and show me where it says new defective items, she couldnât!! Finally, after calling to other stores, they allowed me to exchange after putting up a big fight in the store. Donât let these manager push you around! They do not even know, and under stand their own company policies in place, and have been turning away customers for years most likely. Thatâs theft in my book! This is probably a big lawsuit waiting to happen. Donât let them steal from you. I paid good money, for a good product, not defective. There is no way of finding out your purchase is defective until you literally open the package. Donât be fooled, and donât purchase from a company that wonât return items. Go to Walmart, or Best Buy. I was an employee at GameStop, left on good terms, was a loyal customer, but now I will never go to GameStop when I can easily make my return at Walmart for the same price. # lost a customer for life, and future...
   Read moreI just wanted to say that the staff here are amazing. Collin was very polite and helpful as has been my experience with most of the staff. But he dealt with a frustrated mom( me) when my sonâs new controller broke. I felt like I was kinda rude at first, but he didnât flinch. He seemed to totally understand my frustration and helped me replace it with a new one. Turns out my son loves the new (red) one.
This is a big deal because my son has a medical condition that has placed him in and out of childrenâs hospital for the last 7 months. He canât socialize a lot because he gets infections too easy. So gaming is the only way he gets to really âplayâ with his friends.
Thankfully Collin and Mike told me about their protection plan when I originally bought the controller that broke. I was able to replace it with no issues. Honestly I reccomend always doing as Collin and Mike advise. Get the replacement plan, itâs worth it.
I also wanted to point out that this store is so well organized and clean. Itâs obvious the staff here actually care. Iâll always be a customer here as long as I live in Loveland. Thank you Collin for dealing with a grouchy momma and totally making my sons day. Thank you...

Guy there told me they don't make aim controllers anymore, which is not true, he also told me that my VR system will not work with the new PS5. Talked to multiple people later and they said they have literally been playing their VR system on their PS5 all day. You know sometimes you want to hire people that know at least a little bit about what they're selling instead of giving customers the wrong information and losing sales.
