Bills Bargains — Local services in Mount Holly Township

I have to say, I was very disappointed at what I saw. My husband and I are thrift store and 2nd hand store bloggers. We were contacted to look into Bill's bargains for a member of our blogs. Upon approaching this place, it's basically just a big white old warehouse. Some furniture outside. Inside is a HUGE mix. You have basically everything you can think of. Furniture and appliances. To one are they have brand new furniture. But most of the rest of the warehouse it's all 2nd hand used furniture and appliances. My disappointment came when I saw what they were charging for used and not so in great shape furniture and appliances. We stumpled upon a sofa that was stained with a price tag of $350.00. And throughout the warehouse everything is just WAY over priced! In a ridiculous way! I will say with confidence and I stand by my views of doing these check ins for over 15yrs. This place basically gets things from Thrift Stores, Craigslist free ads. Or even Bulk garbage day and slaps a $350- $1000+ price tags on them! The one factor... I took note of some of the old furniture they had on the floor, about 10 of them that are over $300.00 and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM I found online either on Craigslist or ebay etc. For pennies to the dollar or EVEN FREE! 1 specific sofa we had seen that was tagged $750 we had spotted 2 weeks later at the local Goodwill for $12.99 and In cleaner better condition! It no big deal getting free, broken furniture and flipping it for some profit. But that is ridiculous! On our blogg they have been added as one of the most worst priced. Only things I could say that seemed to be priced fairly were the rugs in the back. Anything else WAY WAY WAY...

I remember a day when Bills Bargains , offered Bargains. I have pieces of furniture from over 10years ago from Bills. Never had any issues with their furniture. But my last few visits were disappointing. I went to a few other furniture stores , found a bedroom set and was pretty much still shopping around. We ended up at Bills as our last stop and even though the chances are rare to find similar sets. We did find the same exact set that we decided to get at the other store. So the price for this set was over $400 more at Bills Bargains , with some small damages , and it was for only three of the 5 pieces pieces. The night stands were extra $$. All I can say is , shop around. .... Bills Bargains , isn’t about Bargains...

So a nice hide always spot, found what I was looking for, friendly owner. Some prices were excellent and some was a little exaggerated. Building is old and in need of some repairs and also not really a sign out to point you to the entrance or even if they're open or not. I always thought it was a closed business, until I saw some cars and trucks there.. that's why given 4 stars. Otherwise would definitely go back to purchase more items. Thanks Bill and Staff for...
