For the last 3 visits, I haven't been successful in making a trade/ purchased without an issue. In September it took 2 staff members 30 minutes to check me out when there were 2 registers running and 1 customer in line trading a bunch of stuff. One was counting inventory while the other processed the sale. More recently in February, I saw a good trade promotion that I wanted to take dvantage of. When I got there they said that the promotion advertised on their app ended the day before. Today, I saw a good price on NBA 2k19 for the switch for $22.39. I reserved it in the app and went to go pick it up. When I got there, they told me that the game would cost $45. When I showed them the apps price that I reserved it for, they wouldn't honor it. They stated that the sale price ended the day before. They offered a new copy for $30.00. I used to love this company, but have lost respect for them over these issues. We tried to do a transaction with a gift card and the rest on a credit card, but there was an issue with the card payment going through. After the THIRD DIFFERENT card they still claimed it wasnāt their system and that all of our cards didnāt work, okay. It was obviously an issue with the gift card or splitting the transaction but they didnāt seem very knowledgeable or like they knew what they were doing. Would skip this place and just go online or find a different retailer with better customer service if a gift card is not involved. A gift card was the only reason we even stepped foot in there. All three cards worked just fine for the rest of the day btw. Save yourself...

Iāve been bothering them since last week cause they have been having issues with trade ins on the Xbox serial numbers along with other locations and theyāve been dealing with my check ins and phone calls while being so kind and understanding and just keeping me up to date. Iāll literally will never go to another GameStop store as long as Iām in the Murfreesboro/Christiana area. I really appreciate Maddy ( I hope I heard her correctly on her name lol) and Marcus.
