I’m saddened that I won’t be able to support this location anymore. I tried but of course there’s continued not so pleasant service. I went in today to get more groceries and live crawfish. She was about to go to the back and get me a sack and 2 guys walked up from front of the store and told her to stop selling crawfish. She said that she was going to get my sack since I had already asked and he shook his head no. He said that the sacks were already sold. I left my basket with groceries right there. I went to inquire with the manager, explained what happened, and he said that they were already sold. I walked out. How are they already sold if she was selling them? You have an alert system set up to let you know when you are down to a certain amount of sacks? They sell out of a lot of things or get low stocked on other items and it takes forever to replenish. I’m shocked that this store has been around for over 10 years. It’s changed so much over the years! True, the lines are always long but I like to use the self checkout line because there’s always only one or two cashiers checking customers out. I like that Winn Dixie gives you points for future purchases and I love that they always have the best deals for fresh produce! I got two whole bags of ginger 🫚 for only $5 bucks!!! You can’t beat that anywhere!!!! I also love the fact H2O is affordable and reasonable due to New Orleans always having a water boiling advisory!!!!! The employees are always very helpful when asked for help and there’s always security in this location due to the neighborhood!
