I’ve been here a few times before and it’s never that great. They drill deep into your natural nail even when you ask them not to, appointments are fake, but it’s close enough to my place and not expensive so I still go sometimes.

Called twice to confirm the time, and when I got there the tech had clearly just started someone else’s set. I was told to soak my nails, which was a way to keep me from leaving, and she kept trying to tell me that she’d be done right away. I told them I’d rather come back when she was ready and she said 30 mins so I went up the road and came back. She didn’t end up starting my set until an hour after I first got there. She told me they didn’t have many nail techs because of spring break, so I took it in stride.

My set was bad and rushed. Uneven application, bad filing, gaps on the sides. Brushes must not have been clean because there’s random glitter on half my nails. I asked for colorful stones with a reference photo and she only wanted to use the same 3 colors, even though she brought out a tray with at least 12. She left globs of hard gel on my nail and bubbles in the polish from applying to quickly so my nails are totally rough and uneven. I politely tried to point out my concerns along the way, but the set is bad enough that I’ll have to file off the stones I paid extra for, so I can level and repaint my nails myself. On top of all that, there’s a markup for paying with a card. I understand that card fees can add up, so passing along the 3% is normal (would have been $2) but the markup was $5, and I paid 20% tip from there. Went yesterday for a regular pedicure and acrylic set, and all I’m going to say is to tread with caution. The man who did my pedicure did a good job, but the woman who did my manicure could care less about how my nails turned out. I asked for a maroon french and this is how they turned out. Extremely sloppy looking, very even, and way chunkier than I would have liked them to be. I also asked for my nails to be shorter, but the woman kept insisting that if I wanted almond nails, they needed to be medium length. I probably should have waited to get my nails done by the other woman that was there because the other customer that was having her nails done came out very nice. Pauline is The best!!!! I got my bday medi and pedi done by Pauline. She is skilled! I’m so Jay every time she does my nails. No one is like her!!! Fyi: she’s a nail educator and teaches many and does celebrate nails. Perfection at an affordable price. Polly takes her time to make sure your nails are perfect. Polly is very passionate about her skill and she is beyond skilled. Your nails will look elegant and amazing! Glad to have met her he is so lovely, nice and kind.
