GameStop — Local services in Nicholasville

The manager here, Paige is really an asset to this company and this town. I came in today, with my 8 year old son. We were on a mission to find an "8 year old" version of GTA. (I know, it doesn't exist...) Something with fast cars, and lots of action, but that didn't have a "mature" content rating, and that didn't have killing people or blood in it. She walked us through a large amount of games that met that criteria until we found one that we agreed on. She was so patient with my son and helped him pick a game that was age appropriate, but action packed enough for him. She has a vast knowledge of her inventory. She also knows many of her customers by name. She overall is just great at her job. We come here a fair amount, and I will continue to come back. Thanks, Paige for the exceptional...

We have patronized this store on many occasions. It is clean, the staff are friendly, and they have a large variety. However, the prices are too high for their used games, and they don't give much for trade ins, of popular games bought from their store. To go on, we have bought items that simply do not work (iPod) The only real benefit of shopping at the store is the benefit of not having to wait for something to ship from an online retailer. Perhaps, GameStop should reconsider their policies if they intend to stay relevant as online shopping sites are now taking trade ins on electronics, and planning to offer same day delivery. I had to go to the one on Richmond Rd. On Christmas eve night. It was late. I believe everyone was tired and ready to go home. The 2 guys that was working made me get a good laugh before going on to the next store to get the next thing from Santa Claus list. With being ready to go home they still made the customer (myself) feel like I wasnt going to lose my mind trying to find what I needed on my next Avenger with my Christmas list.
