I have had two awful experiences at this store. The first consisted of purchasing a used Xbox 360 that was certified to work. I specifically asked the staff to make sure the Xbox had an HDMI port. They confirmed and I purchased the Xbox. After opening the Xbox on my way home after driving 20 minutes, I come to find that there is no HDMI port. I decided to go back to the store and drive 20 minutes to exchange the console. After swapping the console out for an Xbox that did have an HDMI port, I arrive home after a long commute and turn on the Xbox. What a surprise there is another issue. The cooling fan on the Xbox was so loud it sounded like the Xbox was going to explode. I decided to go to a different GameStop and exchange the console and was even upgraded to a better console for my troubles (not from richboro GameStop).
My second experience consisted of purchasing CALL of Duty MW3. As I wait in line to purchase the game, I had the staff the game and a $20 bill. The staff asks for my ID as you need to be 17 to purchase the game. I forgot my wallet and didn't have it on me. The staff still would not let me purchase the game. Please note I am a fully bearded man in my mid 20's and look absolutely nothing like someone who is 16 or younger. I am absolutely appalled that they were not able to make an exception for someone who is clearly not 16 or younger. Read moreTerrible service by employee. My wife called to check availability of ps4 pro and a rude employee told her they had one in stock so she drove 25 mins to pick one up. When she arrived they said she could not enter the store due to covid and said she would need to give them her card and stay on the phone while they did the transaction. Ok. Then they could not use a debit card, so run it as credit, nope. A wells fargo card was not good enough. All the time the employee was rude and acting like we were in the wrong for not know how this transaction would work. Only used items could be purchased online and picked up. I wish I had the employees name but I'm glad this business is going under as much as it pains me to see people lose a job locally but gamestop had this coming. ...

If you do not have the staff to work or the funds to remain open then please close your store so that a new business can open in your place. Respectfully, I visit this location on Saturdays between the hours of 1-3pm with my stepson to purchase Pokémon cards. We usually have to go next door to the toy store because the store is closed. On the same token, a previous patron mentioned the staff looking miserable. I’d like to second that notion and add they are also not knowledgeable of their products.
